If you know what you want from God and you are confident that He never fails, nothing will stop you from pressing in to Him by prayer until you receive all that His Word has promised you.

God told Elijah. “GO AND SHOW YOURSELF TO AHAB FOR I WILL SEND RAIN UPON THE EARTH” (| Kings 18:1). Elijah could have gone to his bed to sleep by saying, “After all, He has said it, let Him do it” No! He did not do that! What did he do?
HE CLEANSED THE LAND (1 Kings 18:2-40), and then, he spoke the Word of the Lord over the land (1 Kings 18:41). After decreeing the Word, he went on his knees and he PRAYED UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENED (PUSH), He pressed in! HE PUSHED!

Verse 43 says, “Go up now and look towards the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, there is nothing. And he said, GO AGAIN SEVEN TIMES.” Go Again Seven Times! Wow! He Prayed Until God Turned The Report Of “Nothing’ Into “Something.” Maybe you have been receiving reports of “NOTHING” reports of ZERO, reports of ‘NOT YET.

Maybe you have been ‘fired again and again with discouraging news and you’re tired of praying! DON’T GIVE UP AT ALL! PRESS IN AND PRESS ON. Nothing will change to something! No wonder the great Bible teacher.
E.M. Bounds, quipped, “Our praying, however,
needs to be pressed and pursued with an energy that never tires, a persistency which will not be denied, and a courage which never fails.” The kind of prayer that wins is the kind of prayer that never weakens.
Just as a farmer keeps on pulling the
weeds so that his/her crops can have enough nutrients to take from the soil, a man/woman of prayer must keep on pressing in to God until he/she sees the victory he/she desires! As soon as Elijah saw that victory, he sent a message to Ahab, “Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.”
