Hymn 1: “And Can It Be”

   An interest in the Saviour’s blood?

   Mighty in the conflict of the right ‘gainst wrong.
   This the blessed promise given in God’s Word.

   As Jehovah liveth, strength divine He giveth
   Unto those who know Him victory all the time!

2. In the midst of battle he thou not dismayed,
   Though the powers of darkness ‘gainst thee are arrayed.
   God, thy Strength, is with thee, causing thee to stand,
   Heaven’s allied armies wait at thy command.

   Walking like a hero midst the furnace heat,

5. Every power assigned to attack my destiny helpers, you shall receive divine judgment today, in the name of Jesus.

6. Father, let every hidden agenda against my future be exposed today, in Jesus’ name.

CONFESSION: PSALM 91

1. O God, arise, and uproot anything You did not plant, inside the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, in the name of Jesus.

2. O God, let the fire of revival, fall upon the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, in the name of Jesus.

3. Lord, arise and destroy every spirit of frustration in my life, in the name of Jesus.

4. Every stubborn obstacle before my miracles, be removed now, in the name of Jesus.

5. Father, confront every power stealing my opportunities, in the name of Jesus.

6. Every demonic delay assigned to my life, be judged and destroyed, in Jesus’ name.

7. O Lord, arise and break every yoke of backwardness in my life, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYERS ON WATER

1. My Father, I thank You for creating water as part of Your mysterious creation. Thank You, Lord, for water, which is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. Water washes, revives, satisfies, refreshes, maintains, purifies, and it is growth-producing.

2. O Lord, arise by Your resurrection power and breathe upon this body of water. Let the Holy Ghost fire overshadow this body of water and convert it to divine healing, creative water, demon-crushing-water, divine vitamins and divine antibiotics, in Jesus’ name.

3. Let every particle of this water carry unquenchable fire that will disgrace every plantation of darkness in my blood and the whole of my body, and let it challenge every hidden poison in my body and push it out, in the name of Jesus.

4. Father Lord, as I drink this water, let the power of the living waters mix with it and let it renew my youth like the eagle’s; let the spirit of wisdom, spirit of understanding, spirit of counsel and might, spirit of knowledge, and spirit of the fear of the Lord rest upon my life, in the name of Jesus.

5. Lord, as I drink this water, let it wash away every plantation of darkness in my life and let it wipe away the sorrow and bitter water troubling my life, in Jesus’ name.

6. Any power opposing the purpose and divine agenda of God for my life, be shifted away by this water of fire, in the name of Jesus.

7. O God, arise and let this water scatter every horn of darkness planted against my life, and let it destroy the altar mounted against my destiny in my environment, in the name of Jesus.

8. You this water, purge sickness, infirmity, weakness and sickness unto death out of my life, in the name of Jesus.

9. Any dead organ in my body, come alive when you make contact with this water of fire, in the name of Jesus.

10. Father, let this water of fire dismantle stubborn wickedness and stubborn witchcraft in my environment, in the name of Jesus.

ODM Daily Commentary

Let’s be honest: the “Power Must Change Hands” programme is not for the faint-hearted. It is a spiritual warfare manual that reads like a military operation. And the July 2026 edition, with its “Annual Water of Fire” focus, is particularly intense.

The hymns set the tone. “And Can It Be” and “They Who Know the Saviour” are classic declarations of victory. They remind the believer that salvation is a mystery of grace, and that those who know the Saviour are strong. The language is militant: “victory all the time,” “brave to bear life’s testing,” “walking like a hero midst the furnace heat.”

Then come the prayer points, a systematic assault on every force that opposes God’s purpose. “Every power that says I will not rise, you shall be judged and scattered.” “Every stubborn problem in my workplace, you shall be consumed by divine judgment.” “Every evil covenant affecting my destiny shall break.”

The “Word Bomb” is a collection of scripture promises that serve as ammunition: “The Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” “Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand.” These are not passive reassurances; they are declarations of war.

The personal prayers are equally aggressive: “O God, arise, and uproot anything You did not plant, inside the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries.” “Lord, arise and destroy every spirit of frustration in my life.” “Every demonic delay assigned to my life, be judged and destroyed.”

But the centrepiece is the “Prayers on Water.” The water is not just water; it is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. It is prayed over, blessed, and transformed into “divine healing, creative water, demon-crushing-water, divine vitamins and divine antibiotics.” The believer drinks it to “wash away every plantation of darkness,” to “purge sickness, infirmity, weakness and sickness unto death,” and to bring “dead organs” back to life.

This is not a polite, middle-class Christianity. This is spiritual warfare at its most raw and confrontational. It is a theology that takes the reality of demonic opposition seriously, and that responds with aggressive, faith-filled prayer.

The practical application is clear: if you are facing stubborn problems, invisible barriers, or demonic delays, you need to fight. You need to use the weapons of prayer, the Word of God, and even physical elements like water as channels of divine power. You need to declare, command, and confront.

MFM’s approach may be controversial, but it is undeniably effective for those who embrace it. And in a world that is becoming increasingly dark, a church that knows how to fight is a church that will survive.

The water is fire. The prayer is war. And the victory is certain.
