Commentary
Today, Friday 22nd May 2026, is GLORY FRIDAY – a double-barreled, explosive day of reversal. Pastor Jerry Eze declares: “Today is your KAIROS.” Kairos is the Greek word for God’s appointed, opportune, perfect moment – not just chronological time (chronos), but the moment of destiny, the moment of intervention, the moment when everything changes.
“A double-barreled, explosive day” – two powers combined: glory and reversal. When the glory comes, evil evaporates. You do not fight evil with equal force – you release glory, and evil cannot survive in the presence of God’s weighty presence. Glory is not a feeling; it is the manifest presence of God – His weight, His beauty, His fire. And when glory comes, sicknesses that have lingered for years suddenly disappear. When glory comes, curses that have followed families for generations lose their power. When glory comes, the enemy does not retreat – he evaporates.
The anchor scripture is John 11:4 – the story of Lazarus, who was sick and died. Jesus said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God.” Human reasoning said: “Lazarus is dead. It is over.” But Jesus said: “Wait. This is not a death sentence – this is a glory setup.” Four days later, Jesus stood at the tomb and cried, “Lazarus, come forth!” And the dead man came out. What looked like the end was actually the beginning of glory. What looked like defeat was actually the platform for a miracle.
“It is reversed” – not “it will be reversed,” not “it can be reversed” – IT IS REVERSED. Already done. Already accomplished in the spirit. Already sealed by the blood.

- Write a “Reversal Note.” Write down everything you desire EL-ROI to reverse. Write it clearly. Write it boldly. Write it as though it is already reversed. “The sickness of hypertension – reversed.” “The poverty in my family – reversed.” “The stagnation in my career – reversed.” Bring your Reversal Note to the altar.
- Don’t come alone – bring 3 persons. Glory is not selfish. Reversal is not solitary. Bring three people with you – in person or virtually. Bring them to witness. Bring them to participate. Bring them to receive their own reversal.
The closing declaration is short but final: “IT IS REVERSED. THE GLORY OF GOD HAS TAKEN OVER.” You are not asking for reversal – you are declaring it. You are not hoping for glory – you are announcing that it has taken over.
Today is your kairos. Evil evaporates. What was rising and falling is now rising only. What was attacking you is now paralyzed. What was covering you is now exposed. It is reversed. The glory of God has taken over.
