Commentary
Today, Thursday 14th May 2026, is Day 4 of the Furnace of Answers – the NSPPD Global Crusade. The fire has fallen. Goliath has fallen. And now, Pastor Jerry Eze declares: it’s repositioning o’clock. This is not a day for standing still. This is not a day for looking back. This is a day for crossover – leaving the old side behind and stepping into the side that God showed you a long time ago.
The anchor scripture is 2 Kings 2:8 – the story of Elijah and Elisha at the Jordan River. Elijah took his mantle (the symbol of his prophetic authority and anointing), rolled it up, and struck the water. The water divided – this way and that – and the two of them crossed over on dry ground. Not on wet ground. Not wading through difficulty. Dry ground. Divine access. Supernatural ease. A pathway where there was no pathway.
Pastor Jerry is declaring that you are crossing over today – not to just any side, but to:
– The side called JOY – where sorrow and mourning have fled
– The side called CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH – where every diagnosis is reversed, every symptom disappears
– The side God showed you a long time ago – the vision He gave you in prayer, the dream He planted in your heart, the promise He spoke over your life
“Pack your bags, we are moving.” This is not a suggestion; it is a command. You are not being asked to consider moving. You are being told to pack – because departure is immediate. Leave behind the old season. Leave behind the old struggles. Leave behind the old identity of failure, sickness, poverty, and delay. You are not taking that baggage with you.
“If any blockers appear – FIRE CLEAR THE WAY!” You may encounter obstacles as you attempt to cross over. The enemy does not release his captives easily. But the instruction is clear: do not negotiate with blockers. Do not fight blockers with your own strength. Command fire to clear the way. The same fire that fell on Day 1, the same fire that consumed Goliath on Day 2 – that fire goes before you today, burning every barrier, parting every water, removing every blocker.
The five operations for today cover every aspect of this crossover:
- Operation Congratulations – You are not crossing over silently. Heaven is shouting congratulations over you. Your testimony will be celebrated.
- Operation Stop The Stoppers – This is the reverse side of crossing over. While you move forward, blockers must be stopped. You are not just crossing; you are ensuring that what has blocked you in the past cannot block you again.
- Operation Crossover To The NEW – The new season is not a slightly improved version of the old. It is NEW. New health. New finances. New relationships. New opportunities. New levels. Do not drag the old into the new.
- Operation Transition – Transition is the process of moving from one state to another. It can be uncomfortable, but it is necessary. Embrace the transition.
- Operation Divine Repositioning – Not just a change of location, but a change of positioning. You are being placed exactly where God can use you, bless you, and manifest His glory through you.
The prophetic instructions are crucial. Write everything that needs to be blocked in your life. Name the blockers. Name the obstacles. Name the patterns. Name the enemies. Then write your new season like you are already there. Not “I hope to get there” – “I am already there.” Write it in the past tense. Write it as a done deal. Bring both lists to the altar.
Gather prayer requests from everyone you know. Crossover is corporate. You are not crossing alone. Invite others. Share the link. Share the prayers. Because when you cross over, you are to bring others with you.
