Commentary
Today, Tuesday 5th May 2026, Pastor Jerry Eze moves NSPPD into a new dimension of spiritual authority: commanding the morning. The anchor scripture from Job 38:12-13 is God challenging Job – “Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days?” In other words, do you have any idea what it means to speak to the dawn and tell it where to rise? Today, Pastor Jerry declares that believers are not just passive inhabitants of May – they are commanders of May’s morning. You are not waiting for May to happen to you; you are telling May what to produce for you.
The opening declaration is bold and confrontational: “We are setting May in order.” That means May has no authority to bring chaos, confusion, or calamity into your life. You are establishing divine order over every day, every hour, every minute of this fifth month. “We can never be victims in May” – victimhood is a position of powerlessness, but the good hand of El-Roi (declared yesterday) has already placed you in a position of victory. “Our families will never be casualties in May” – a casualty is someone who suffers loss, injury, or death as a result of circumstance. Pastor Jerry is drawing a line: your family is not collateral damage. May will take casualties, but they will not be from your household. “Casual men become casualties” – this is a strong prophetic warning and declaration combined. Those who live carelessly, prayerlessly, and ignorantly will suffer loss. But you are not a casual man or woman. You are vigilant, prayerful, and covered by the blood.
The nine operations listed for today cover every possible area of need:
- Operation Carry Your Harvest is for those who have been sowing in tears, fasting, giving, and serving – now is the time to carry your harvest, not watch someone else carry it.
- Operation Earlier Than Expected targets the spirit of delay. What God promised for December, you receive in May. What was scheduled for next year, you see this month.
- Operation Let There Be Light brings revelation, clarity, and divine insight. Darkness hides traps, but light exposes every hidden snare.
- Operation I Am No Longer A Victim is a complete identity shift. You are not someone to whom bad things happen; you are someone over whom God prevails.
- Operation Where They Left Me Is Not Where They Will Find Me is for those abandoned, forgotten, or written off. The enemy left you at a low level, but when May ends, you will be found at a higher place.
- Operation Stop The Stoppers continues from yesterday – a consistent assault on every force of hindrance.
- Operation I Have My Evidence demands tangible proof. Not just faith – faith with results. Not just hope – hope with manifestation.
- Operation The Former & The Latter Rain At Once (from Joel 2:23) is the prayer for double portion. The early rain that plants and the latter rain that harvests come simultaneously. You will not wait long between sowing and reaping.
- Operation Instant Healing & Deliverance rejects progressive decline or gradual recovery. You receive your healing now – not after weeks, months, or years.
The fasting hours are reduced today from 3pm to 2pm, but the intensity is increased. The instruction to update your “New Name” list again shows that naming is not a one-time event – it is a continuous act of prophetic identity formation.
The closing declaration – “MAY, GO TO WORK! BRING ME FULL JOY!” – is a command, not a request. May is not your master; May is your servant. And its assignment is to bring you full joy.

Before this May ends, I will be found at a higher place. A new level. A new address. A new status. A new testimony. They will look for me where they abandoned me, and I will not be there.
