PART TWO: COMMENTARY ON THE SCRIPTURES

The Pattern of Divine Testimony

Pastor Jerry Eze has compiled these scriptures as a declaration package for NSPPDians. Each verse carries a specific weight and reveals a particular dimension of God’s nature and His dealings with His people. Together, they form a comprehensive declaration of faith for this season.

Revelation 19:1 – The Sound of Heaven
The great voice of much people in heaven declares: Alleluia! Salvation, glory, honour, and power belong to the Lord. This establishes the foundation of all prayer and declaration—worship. Before we ask, we ascribe worth. Before we receive, we acknowledge the Source. Heaven’s atmosphere is worship, and when we declare this, we align ourselves with that atmosphere.

Judges 14:14 – Out of the Eater Came Forth Meat
This is the riddle of Samson—something sweet coming from something strong, provision emerging from predation. This speaks of God’s ability to bring good out of evil, provision out of persecution, sweetness out of suffering. In this season, what the enemy meant to devour will become your sustenance. The very thing designed to destroy you will feed you.

Isaiah 45:19 – Not in Vain
God declares that He has not spoken in secret, nor said to the seed of Jacob, “Seek Me in vain.” This is a powerful assurance: your seeking is not wasted. Your prayers are not falling on deaf ears. Your fasting is not empty ritual. God speaks righteousness and declares things that are right. What He has promised, He will perform.

Acts 1:3 – Infallible Proofs
After His resurrection, Jesus showed Himself alive by “many infallible proofs.” This is what we are believing for—evidence that cannot be denied. Proofs that silence skeptics. Proofs that establish faith. Proofs that cannot be argued away. This week, your testimony becomes an infallible proof of God’s faithfulness.

Acts 28:3-6 – No Harm Came to Him
Paul was gathering sticks—ordinary, mundane activity—when a viper fastened on his hand. The people expected him to swell up and die. But when they looked a great while and saw no harm, they changed their minds and called him a god. This is our portion: the poison of the enemy will not harm you. The attack will become your platform. The expectation of your enemies will be reversed, and they will glorify God on your behalf.

Acts 12:6-11 – Delivered from All Expectation
Peter slept between two soldiers, bound with two chains, with guards at the door. Humanly speaking, his situation was hopeless. But the angel came, light shone, chains fell, and Peter walked out free—delivered “from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.” What men expected (execution) was overturned by what God ordained (deliverance). This week, you are delivered from every negative expectation.

1 Samuel 17:50 – No Sword in His Hand
David prevailed over Goliath with a sling and a stone. There was no sword in his hand. God specialises in victories that require no conventional weapons. Your breakthrough will not depend on your resources, connections, or qualifications. It will depend solely on the God who goes before you.

Numbers 17:8 – The Rod That Budded
Aaron’s rod was a dead stick—cut off from the tree, dry, lifeless. But when placed in the tabernacle, it budded, blossomed, and yielded almonds. This is resurrection power. What is dead in your life—dreams, relationships, finances, health—shall bud again. Not just survive, but thrive. Not just live, but bear fruit.

Acts 10:38 – Anointed to Do Good
Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. This is the ministry of Jesus, and it is the ministry available to us. The same anointing that rested on Him is available to you. This week, you will do good, you will see healing, and the oppressed will be set free.

Acts 12:8-9 – Arise and Follow
The angel told Peter to gird himself, bind on his sandals, cast his garment about him, and follow. Peter obeyed, not fully understanding that it was real. Sometimes we walk in obedience before we have full comprehension. This week, when the Spirit says arise, arise. When He says follow, follow. Your obedience activates your deliverance.

2 Kings 9:12-13 – Jehu Is King
When the prophetic word came declaring Jehu as king, the people hastened, took their garments, put them under him, and blew trumpets. Prophetic declaration activates prophetic response. When God speaks, men respond. This week, prophetic words over your life will produce swift manifestation and public recognition.

Genesis 37:23, 41:41, 49:22-23 – From Stripped to Seated
Joseph was stripped of his coat of many colours—the very symbol of his father’s favour. But that same Joseph was later clothed with the robes of Egyptian authority and set over all the land. The archers shot at him and grieved him, but his branches ran over the wall. What men stripped from you, God will restore with interest. Where they shot at you, you will spread beyond their reach.

John 1:29, Luke 3:22 – Behold the Lamb
John declared Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. The Father declared from heaven, “Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.” These verses anchor us in the identity of Jesus—the Lamb who saves, the Son who pleases the Father. All our declarations rest on this foundation: Jesus is Lord, and in Him, we are accepted.

PART FOUR: PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK

Prayer Based on Revelation 19:1

Father, I join the great multitude in heaven declaring: Alleluia! Salvation belongs to You! Glory belongs to You! Honour belongs to You! Power belongs to You! You alone are worthy of all praise. Before I ask for anything, I ascribe worth to You. Before I present my petitions, I present my worship. Let my life be a continual hallelujah to Your name.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Based on Judges 14:14

Father, I declare over my life: out of the eater comes meat! Every situation the enemy designed to consume me, I receive provision from. Every attack meant to destroy me, I receive testimony from. What the enemy meant for evil, turn for my good. Let sweetness come from the strong places in my life.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Based on Isaiah 45:19

Father, Your Word says You have not spoken in secret, nor said to seek You in vain. I hold onto this promise. My prayers are not wasted. My fasting is not empty. My seeking is not in vain. You are speaking righteousness over my life, and You will declare things that are right concerning me. I receive Your word over my situation.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Based on Acts 1:3

Father, I ask for infallible proofs in my life this week. Proof that cannot be denied. Evidence that cannot be argued. Testimonies that silence skeptics. Show Yourself alive in my circumstances. Let men see and know that You are the living God.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Based on Acts 28:3-6

Father, like Paul, I declare that no harm shall come to me from the attacks of the enemy. Every viper that fastens onto my life—every poison meant to destroy me—I command it to have no effect. Let those who look for my downfall watch a great while and see no harm. Let them change their minds and glorify You on my behalf.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Based on Acts 12:6-11

Father, I receive angelic visitation. Light shine in my prison. Chains fall from my hands. I walk out of every confinement. I am delivered from every expectation of the enemy. What men planned for evil, You overturn for good. I am free indeed!

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Based on 1 Samuel 17:50

Father, give me victories that require no sword in my hand. Breakthroughs that do not depend on my resources. Triumphs that showcase Your power, not my ability. Let Goliath fall before me, and let the world know that You are God.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Based on Numbers 17:8

Father, let every dead thing in my life bud again! Dry dreams blossom. Dead hopes revive. Barren situations yield fruit. Like Aaron’s rod, I declare resurrection life over my finances, my health, my family, my destiny. What was cut off springs forth again!

Prayer Based on Acts 10:38

Father, anoint me afresh with the Holy Ghost and with power. Let me go about doing good. Let healing flow through me. Let the oppressed be set free by my ministry. Let it be said of me, as of Jesus, “God was with him.”

Prayer Based on Acts 12:8-9

Father, give me grace to obey quickly when You speak. When the angel says arise, let me arise. When You say gird yourself, let me gird. When You say follow, let me follow—even when I do not fully understand. My obedience activates my deliverance.

Prayer Based on 2 Kings 9:12-13

Father, let every prophetic word spoken over my life manifest publicly. Let those who hear it hasten to respond. Let garments be spread before me. Let trumpets announce my season. What You have spoken secretly, let it be declared openly.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Based on Genesis 37:23, 41:41, 49:22-23

Father, I receive the Joseph anointing. Though I have been stripped of my coat, I will be clothed with authority. Though archers have shot at me and grieved me, my branches will run over the wall. From the pit to the palace, You are taking me. From stripping to seating, You are lifting me. Let my latter end be greatly increased.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Based on John 1:29 and Luke 3:22

Father, I thank You for Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away my sin. I thank You that in Him, I am accepted. I am beloved. I am well-pleasing. My identity is secure in Christ. All my declarations rest on this foundation.

Declare these aloud daily:

1. I DECLARE that salvation, glory, honour, and power belong to my God! Hallelujah!

2. I DECLARE that out of every eater in my life, meat shall come forth! The enemy’s attack becomes my provision!

3. I DECLARE that I do not seek God in vain! Every prayer is answered. Every tear is noted. Every wait is rewarded!

4. I DECLARE that infallible proofs of God’s faithfulness manifest in my life this week!

5. I DECLARE that no harm from the enemy shall come near me! Every viper’s bite is powerless against me!

6. I DECLARE that I am delivered from all expectation of the enemy! What they planned for evil, God turns for good!

8. I DECLARE that dead things in my life bud again! Resurrection power flows through my destiny!

9. I DECLARE that I am anointed to do good and heal the oppressed! God’s power works through me!

10. I DECLARE that I obey quickly when the Spirit speaks! My obedience activates my deliverance!

11. I DECLARE that prophetic words over my life manifest publicly! What God spoke secretly is now declared openly!

12. I DECLARE that I am moving from stripped to seated! From the pit to the palace! From shame to glory!

13. I DECLARE that Jesus is the Lamb of God for me, and I am the beloved child of the Father!

14. I DECLARE that this week, I am ten times better—spiritually, intellectually, financially, and relationally!

15. I DECLARE that the fire on my prayer altar never goes out! I am sustained, I am persistent, I am victorious!

1. Declare These Scriptures Daily – Read through the declaration scriptures every morning. Let them be the first words on your lips.

3. Write Your Testimony – Before you see it, write it. Describe what God will do this week as if it has already happened.
