THE PRAYING LADY AND THE GLOBAL PASTOR!
A powerful preacher once died and entered heaven after years of global ministry. Through his fiery crusades, multitudes had been saved, blind eyes and deaf ears had been opened. When he was coming to any city, stadiums overflowed and whenever he ministered, it was as though God spoke from heaven. Many believed it was simply because he was, “highly anointed.” But when he arrived in heaven, the angels showed him a shocking mystery behind his success. HE WAS SHOWN AN ELDERLY WOMAN, FRAIL IN BODY, UNKNOWN TO THE WORLD, BUT WHO CONSTANTLY TRAVAILED IN PRAYER FOR HIM. SHE ATTENDED NEARLY EVERY PROGRAMME QUIETLY. SOMETIMES SHE WOULD SIT AT THE BACK, WEEPING AND PRAYING IN TONGUES BEFORE THE PASTOR MOUNTED THE PULPIT! Other times she stayed awake through the night, calling his name before God. Heaven revealed to the pastor: “This woman’s intercession preserved your ministry” Wow! So, the Pastor was doing mighty miracles publicly, but another person was fighting secretly! Many people celebrate the glory on the altar but ignore the warfare behind the altar. Ministry is battle! No wonder Apostle Paul repeatedly begged believers, “Brethren, pray for us” (1 Thessalonians 5:25). Take note, this was Apostle Paul. The same Paul who raised the dead still needed prayer support! Wow! Hebrews 13:18 says, “Pray for us…” because heaven knows that leaders who stop receiving intercession can become vulnerable in battle. Instead of criticizing your pastors, pray for them. You discuss your pastor at dining tables but never mention them on prayer altars! Hear me: The devil fears praying members more than talented members because prayer strengthens the altar of a life, family and ministry! I prophesy today: As you stand in prayer for your spiritual leaders, heaven will also raise intercessors to fight for your life, family and ministry in the day of battle! Start praying now!
