In the first year of operation, Coca-cola, the worldwide beverage company, sold only fifty dollars worth of drink. The company started in 1886, and the drink was sold to the public at the Soda Fountain in a pharmacy shop in Atlanta, USA. About seventy dollars was invested in expenses during that first year! The following year, John Pemberton sold his Coca-cola formula to Asa Candler for $2,300, and after about three years, it was one of America’s most popular fountain drink. Before John Pemberton came up with his Coca-cola formula, he had invented many drugs and pharmaceutical products, but he never made money out of them. BUT HE NEVER GAVE UP. He wanted something that would bring him commercial success, and he refused to QUIT!

Today, an estimated 1.8 billion bottles of the drink are sold everyday. When a man sticks to his dreams, he will eventually meet with great success.
