Our Daily Manna Devotional 30th June 2026

TOPIC: SPIDER IN MY BATHROOM WINDOW

I remember that many years ago, I saw a spider on my bathroom wall. The moment I opened the shower, it tried to move and run towards the window! Since I was concerned about spider bites, etc, I took my bath and hurried away! But the next day, I saw it again in the same bathroom, but it had moved inside and was on the other side of the wall. I THEN OPENED THE WINDOW WIDER to help it to escape! I checked the wings and 8 legs and found that there were no injuries! I again took my bath and left! I LEFT THE WINDOW open again and gave it a day more to escape. 24 hours later, I went in and even forgot about that spider; but I found that it was on the same spot. I then summoned all my courage and the strength of “Samson” to hold on and took my shower! The next day, I came in and saw the same spider lying on the floor. That same day, it died! I swept it off but learnt a lesson: IT HAD MANY CHANCES TO ESCAPE BUT IT DIDN’T; PROBABLY IT WAS SICK OR OLD. I AM NOT AN ENTOMOLOGIST – A SPECIALIST IN INSECTS, but from my physical inspection, it had no physical problems! It was well fit for adventures using those magical 8 God-given legs of spiders! But it just didn’t take the first step! And it died! Ah! What the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is: Don’t be like that spider! You have great potential to manifest for your generation! You are loaded and gifted! You are not ordinary! Believe in yourself and believe in your God! Let delays and failures motivate you to achieve more! Seek more this year! Get out from your cave! To dare is to do! Queen Esther showed uncommon courage by approaching the king without being summoned; that was an offence punishable by death! She dared and God signed His SIGNATURE on her! You are next!
