TOPIC: AND IT WAS SO…!
Welcome! A critical look at Genesis 1, reveals the resurgence of a particular phrase, “AND IT WAS SO” in the story of creation! Whatever God said, proclaimed, commanded and declared came to pass. He declared in vs. 3, “LET THERE BE LIGHT” and it was so! He commanded, “LET THERE BE A FIRMAMENT” and it was so! Then He proclaimed, “LET THE EARTH BRING FORTH GRASS” and it was so! So, whatever God spoke became a reality. In scripture, God and His Son Jesus have said things we can count on. Hebrews 13:5 says, “Be content with such things as you have. For [God] Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.” If He has said it, He will do it! God wants you to be like Him. He has put His words and His power in your mouth. So, you can also speak, declare and prophesy a thing and it shall be so! Job 22:28 declares, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Did you get that? God Himself said that you can decree whatever you want in line with His Word and it shall come to pass. Use today’s devotional to practice this divine power of attorney. Declare what you want to see, and what you don’t want to see now as led! Mark 11:23 says you shall have WHATEVER you say! Wow! I decree now, as you go out today: YOU SHALL HAVE WHAT YOU SAY! That means if you don’t SAY IT, you can’t HAVE IT! Therefore, no matter how this signature year has been, keep saying it, keep talking it over and over, and it shall be so! Amen and amen!
