It was Henry Wadsworth Longfellow who proclaimed that, “Into each life, some rain must fall. Some days must be dark and dreary.” That means no matter how much you try to please men, from time to time, your ‘sun’ may temporarily disappear! The great Winston Churchill had framed on the wall of his office the following words: “I do the very best I can to keep going. If the end brings me out all right, then what is said against me won’t matter! If I’m wrong, ten angels swearing I was right won’t make a difference.” Abraham Lincoln also had the same frame hung in his toilet. Wow! Jesus of Nazareth, the best “Man” that ever passed through this planet, was bitterly citicised (Matthew 11:19; John 8:48-49; 10:20)! If you really want to rise, be always prepared for criticism on this planet! The secret to winning over verbal or harsh criticism is to never forget what Emerson said, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies inside us.” Keep your focus and keep moving on! Remember that the only way to avoid criticism is to do nothing, say nothing and be nothing! That is nothing but a suicidal lifestyle! God forbid! Oh! Hamilton Marble penned, “Never fear opposition. Kites rise against -not with -the wind.” Dary Crockett wrote concerning criticism, “Make sure you are right then go ahead.” Are you not studying, working, fasting and praying to be a great success? Part of your unavoidable, “BUS-STOP” is criticism! You cannot kill Goliath without being criticized (Vs. 28 of of today’s scripture)! Vs. 30 says, “And he (David) turned from him (Eliab his own brother)…” That is what you should do to critics! Our Daily Manna ODM 26th March 2026

1. From this day and in this year 2026, I shall TURN FROM NEGATIVE
   CRITICS like David did to Eliab! So help me God!
2. Holy Spirit, energize me against JEALOUS dream killers in Jesus
   name. I shall not quit, get depressed or discouraged (Pray well).
3. I receive the courage to be focused even in the face of criticism.
4. Lord, baptize me this year with Your SIGNATURE and GLORY!
5. Boldly declare what Winston Churchill framed on his office wall!
6. Pray about today (see pages 8-10) and about anything affecting
