Our Daily Manna ODM Today 4th August 2026
TOPIC: THE ROMAN GLADIATORS! AH! USE YOUR WEAPONS DAILY!
While visiting a museum, a man saw a small inscription describing a class of Roman gladiators (soldiers) called, “THE RETIARII” – who fought using only a net and a trident (a threepronged spear)! Wow! These fearsome warriors, often battled to death! When they entered the arena, their survival depended on how well they used their weapons! Notes the words: “THEIR SURVIVAL DEPENDED ON HOW WELL THEY USED THEIR WEAPONS.” In this 2nd half of the year 2026, and indeed as you journey through this planet, your survival depends on how well you use your spiritual weapons. Many believers today are lazy and full of excuses when it comes to spiritual things like daily Bible reading, fasting and prayer, evangelism, giving and kingdom business in general. And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is: Use your weapons daily and use them well and wisely! The Christian race is a life of war, battle and warfare, not fanfare! 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 says, “Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” Never forget that, “Prayer beats the weapon out of the enemy’s hand and gets the blessing out of God’s hand.” You must watch, pray, and fight! Expect your last battle to be the most difficult because the NIGHT IS DARKEST JUST BEFORE DAY BREAK! But no matter the matter, YOU WILL SEE THE DAY BREAK/breakthrough YOU HAVE WAITED FOR! Yes! You will testify! Pray seriously now!
