TOPIC: FACE TO FACE; YET HE WAS PUNISHED!

Today’s 1st scripture vs. 11 says: “And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend…” “Face to face as a man speaketh to his friend” (Exodus 33:11) describes an exceptionally intimate, direct, and familiar relationship between Moses and God. It signifies a bond of mutual trust and personal friendship! But this same God punished Moses when HE CROSSED THE RED LINE INTO THE FAMILIARITY ARENA! The Holy Ghost is saying to someone: AVOID OVER FAMILIARITY WITH GOD! In Numbers 16, Korah, a Levite, was chosen to represent God but he fell into the trap of familiarity, which led to rebellion and his instant destruction! Nadab and Abihu in Leviticus 10 offered, “unauthorized fire” (common or profane fire) before the Lord, and were consumed because their casual worship provoked holy anger! Though he had good intentions, Uzzah in 2 Samuel 6 was struck dead on the spot because he acted with irreverence toward the Ark of the Covenant! Catch this: MIRACLES ELUDED the People of Nazareth (Matthew 13) because they did not remember what is called: “THE LEPROSY OF FAMILIARITY.” Over-familiarity with God leads to secrets sins and you must daily AVOID IT! Do not allow your familiarity with God turn you into a LEPER (an outcast) in the land of miracles! Pray seriously now! Our Daily Manna ODM 6th July 2026
