It was George Cukor who wrote that, “You can’t have any successes unless you can accept failure.” That is why God is saying to a user of this devotional: Failure Is An Option, But It Is Not The Option And Not Your Promised Land! This is April! I am not always worried about the initial crowd at gyms when the year begins, because I know that most people do not follow what they begin to the end. They forget that failure is an option along any goal, but it is not the option! Despite your 21, 40 or even 100-day fast of January, when delay or failure hits your dream, continue to pray/hold on! The Word says, “Pray without ceasing” (1Thess. 5:17). Don’t ever stop praying due to discouragement because your announcement is tied to a season (See Ecclesiastes 3:1). Also, when delay or failure hits your dream, continue to plan. Jeremiah 29:11(KJV) says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” saith the LORD, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” See how the Revised Standard Version (RSV) puts it: “For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope!” So, if your God is a planner, you must never stop planning! NEVER ALLOW DELAY TO STOP YOU! There is a future and a hope…(To Be Continued Tomorrow).
