Welcome! I remember the true life story of Dashrat Manjhi! He was an agricultural labourer! In 1959, Manjhi’s wife, Falguni Devi, was badly injured and died because she fell from the mountain and the nearest town with a doctor was 70 kilometres (43 miles) away. She was injured while walking along a narrow path across the difficult, rocky mountain narrow edges to bring water or lunch daily to Manjhi! As a result of his wife’s death, he, in anger, decided to cut a roadway across the mountain to make his village more accessible to medical care! He felt that the loss of his beloved wife/many others could have been prevented! He therefore carved a path 110 metres (360 ft) long, 7.7 metres (25 ft) deep in places and 9.1 metres (30 ft) wide to form a road through the scary rocks. Hear him: “When I started hammering the rocks, people called me a lunatic (insane) but that was fuel for my courage.” He completed the work in 22 years (1960–1982)! Wow! 22 years of DETERMINATION! Ah! The Holy Ghost wants you to know that with the God you serve, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE! Today’s scripture vs. 19 says, “Behold…I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Oh! God will make A WAY through the MOUNTAINS/RIVERS/DESERTS! He did not say you should make a way! He says “I WILL MAKE A WAY”; NOT YOU! Stop anxiety and worry! Be the next Dashrat Manjhi! You will disgrace impossibilities this year…(To be continued tomorrow).
