Collective captivity is something that affects your family. It’s something you were born into and that is being experienced by members of your family.

Everybody goes through it and they will tell you, “this is how it has been.” Both the old and the young, all go through it. Why is it that in some families, etc, nobody ever gets married but they have children? Why is it that in some families, etc, nobody lives long?
Premature death is very common! Do you know that POVERTY, lack of education and begging is the common trend in most families? Some families experience RISE and FALL! They work hard, they even prosper, but they do not end well in all they do!
Some sicknesses are the common denominator in most families! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! You must as a child of God, reject, refute and break free from collective captivity. In any family, the origin of collective captivity is always traceable to one man and not a group of people.

For instance, today’s scripture Verse 27 says, “And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, ‘Thus saith the LORD…” Did you get that? So the origin of collective captivity in Eli’s family was one man. Only one man (ELI) brought the entire family and lineage under collective captivity.
What was the sin of Eli? He neglected his role as the priest and father over his sons until they could no longer be controlled. To add salt to injury, they polluted the altar of God through immorality etc.
God became angry and laid a curse of collective captivity on that family even to their unborn generations, that there was to be no celebration of long life in that family, that they would fight battles without end and that the men would die in the flower of their ages.
As we continue tomorrow, I want you to pray the prayers below with holy anger!
