A Movement Born at Midnight
Nine hundred days ago, something shifted in the spiritual atmosphere of Nigeria and the world. What began as a midnight prayer initiative at Dunamis International Gospel Centre has grown into a global movement that has redefined how believers engage with God in the midnight hour.
The Commanding the Day prayers, held daily at 11:00 PM GMT+1 (10:30 PM on Saturdays), have become a spiritual lifeline for millions across the globe. From the Glory Dome in Abuja to living rooms in London, Accra, New York, and Johannesburg, the faithful gather nightly to command their day before it begins.
But this is no ordinary prayer meeting. It is a furnace of answers, an altar of fire where burdens are lifted, chains are broken, and destinies are restored. And tonight, April 9th, 2026, Dunamis celebrates a monumental milestone: 900 days of consistency, encounters, and undeniable manifestations of God’s power.
The Testimony Journey: What 900 Days Have Produced
Over these 900 days, the testimonies have been nothing short of extraordinary. From divine healing to supernatural provision, from prophetic warnings that averted disasters to life transformations that defied medical science—the evidence of God’s hand upon this prayer altar is overwhelming.
1. The Plane Crash That Never Happened
One of the most striking testimonies to emerge from the Commanding the Day platform occurred in November 2024. During a midnight prayer session, Dr. Paul Enenche suddenly stopped and declared with prophetic urgency:
“We must pray against a plane crash. I stand here by a prophetic mantle to cancel plane crash. In the name of Jesus that is above every other name, every agenda of the devil to cause any crash… either by bird invasion or engine failure… whatever it is, I stand anointed… it is canceled in the name of Jesus.”
Just six hours later, an Air Peace flight scheduled to travel from Abuja to Lagos was abruptly halted at the point of takeoff due to a bird strike at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. Passengers, including Lagos-based lawyer Inibehe Effiong, were shaken as the aircraft came to a sudden stop moments before takeoff.
Effiong later shared his experience on social media, expressing relief that the incident occurred before takeoff: “Thankfully, it didn’t happen after takeoff. It would have been scarier.”
Followers of the midnight prayers celebrated the averted disaster, crediting Dr. Enenche’s prophetic declaration for preventing what could have been a national tragedy.
2. The Boy with Crocodile Skin
In February 2024, a teenage boy named Emmanuel was fighting for his life. What began as what appeared to be measles had quickly worsened into a severe, life-threatening skin condition that left him immobilized and emitting a foul smell. His skin deteriorated into a crocodile-like texture, decomposing and revealing his bones.

On the night of February 18, 2024, during the Commanding The Day Midnight Prayers, Dr. Paul Enenche made a striking declaration. He spoke of a person with crocodile skin that was peeling, proclaiming divine intervention and healing.
The very next day, Emmanuel began to show signs of recovery. He started to move his body gradually and requested food for the first time in days. Within a week, he was able to walk.
In a touching moment, when Dr. Enenche asked Emmanuel about his future aspirations, Emmanuel expressed his desire to become a doctor. Dr. Enenche generously offered him a full scholarship to study medicine, either in Nigeria or the United States.
3. Missing Documents Found After 34 Years

A passionate participant of the midnight prayers had been battling a crisis that began in 1991. That year, his family had applied for a long-term land lease in Africa. They were granted the land and proceeded to invest heavily, developing businesses and establishing multiple streams of income from it.
But unknown to them, a silent error occurred: the land was never officially documented by the government.
Fast forward to 2025, the unexpected happened. The government demanded the immediate evacuation of the land and ordered the demolition of all structures, claiming the family was occupying it illegally. This was devastating. Years of sacrifice were now hanging by a thread.
During a recent “5 Hours Irrigation”—an intense stretch of nonstop prayer, tongues, and prophetic fire—God’s servant released a Word that pierced the atmosphere:
“There shall be an OVERFLOW, missing documents are being restored!” (Psalm 23:5)
The family clung to it in faith, crying out to God for divine intervention.
Two weeks later, a letter arrived from the government. The contents?
“You are legally on the land. The original documents have been found.”
After over 34 years, the missing file was supernaturally located and validated. It turned out that the man who initially processed the land deal died before finalizing the paperwork, and the file had remained lost ever since. But God, rich in mercy, reached into the unseen and brought it to light for the sake of a praying family that believed His Word.
4. From Suicide Attempts to Supernatural Transformation
In March 2025, an extraordinary testimony came from across the Atlantic. A United States pastor, Tony Carpenter, traveled from Baltimore, USA, through Iceland and Frankfurt, Germany, to the Glory Dome in Abuja.
His testimony left the congregation in awe. Carpenter had struggled with drug addiction and had attempted to kill himself three times.
“I tried to kill myself three times, but God rescued me. And I feel the same power of transformation here,” he testified, overcome with emotion.
