BASIC SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 3:7-12 (KJV)

7. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

8. Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

9. And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

10. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

11. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

12. Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, deliver me from the spirit of the Pharisees and Sadducees — religious pride, self-righteousness, and outward show without inward repentance. (Matthew 3:7)

2. Lord, help me to bring forth fruits meet for repentance, not just words or religious rituals. (Matthew 3:8)

3. Father, strip me of every false security — the belief that my heritage, my church, or my family name can save me. You can raise children from stones. (Matthew 3:9)

4. Lord, let the axe be laid to the root of every unfruitful tree in my life. Cut down every habit, relationship, and mindset that bears no good fruit. (Matthew 3:10)

5. Father, baptize me afresh with the Holy Ghost and with fire. Let the fire of God fall upon me today. (Matthew 3:11)

6. Lord, let Your fan purge my floor thoroughly. Separate the wheat from the chaff in my life — my motives, my desires, my works. (Matthew 3:12)

7. Father, let Your word come to me as a fire — burning away every impurity, every compromise, every lie. (Jeremiah 23:29)

8. Lord, let Your word come to me as a hammer — breaking every hard heart, every stubborn will, every rock of unbelief in me. (Jeremiah 23:29)

DECLARATIONS

1. I declare that I am not a generation of vipers. I bring forth fruits meet for repentance. My heart is broken and humble before God.

2. I do not trust in my heritage, my family name, or my religious history. God can raise children from stones, and I am a living stone in His house.

3. The axe is laid to the root of every unfruitful tree in my life. Every dead branch is cut off and cast into the fire.

4. I am baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire. The fire of God rests upon me today.

5. The fan of Christ is in His hand, and He is purging my floor. The chaff is blown away; only the wheat remains.

6. The word of the Lord is a fire in my mouth and in my bones. It burns away every impurity.

7. The word of the Lord is a hammer that breaks every rock — every stubborn place, every hard heart, every barrier of unbelief.

8. I am not chaff. I am wheat. I shall be gathered into the garner of the Lord.
