BASIC SCRIPTURE: ACTS 27: 14-25

 BASIC SCRIPTURE FOR 11TH JANUARY 2026:

ACTS 27:14-25 (NKJV)

14 But not long after, a tempestuous head wind arose, called Euroclydon.
15 And when the ship was caught, and could not head into the wind, we let her drive.
16 And running under the shelter of an island called Clauda, we secured the skiff with difficulty.
17 When they had taken it on board, they used cables to undergird the ship; and fearing lest they should run aground on the Syrtis Sands, they struck sail and so were driven.
18 And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship.
19 On the third day we threw the ship’s tackle overboard with our own hands.
20 Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.
21 But after long abstinence from food, Paul stood in the midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss.
22 And now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.
23 For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve,
24 saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’
25 Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.

🙏 PRAYER POINTS & DECLARATIONS

1. PRAYER AGAINST THE STORMS OF LIFE

Heavenly Father, just as Paul faced Euroclydon, I face storms of life—financial, health, marital, emotional, and spiritual. I speak peace to every tempestuous wind raging against my destiny, in Jesus’ name.
DECLARE: “The storm is not my end; it is my testimony in the making. My ship will not sink!”

2. PRAYER FOR DIVINE INTERVENTION WHEN HOPE IS LOST

Lord, in situations where hope seems gone and no “sun or stars appear” in my life, send Your angel of reassurance. Revive my hope as You did for Paul and those on the ship.
DECLARE: “My hope is anchored in God; I will not be swallowed by despair!”

3. PRAYER FOR DIVINE PRESERVATION

Father, You promised Paul that not a life would be lost. Preserve me, my family, and all connected to my destiny from every plan of the enemy to destroy us, in Jesus’ name.
DECLARE: “I am preserved by covenant; no weapon formed against me shall prosper!”

4. PRAYER TO HEAR GOD’S VOICE IN THE STORM

Lord, give me ears to hear Your voice above the noise of life’s storms. Let me, like Paul, receive heavenly assurance even in my darkest hour.
DECLARE: “I hear God clearly; His voice guides and assures me in every storm!”

5. PRAYER AGAINST WRONG DECISIONS

Father, forgive me for times I’ve sailed ahead without Your guidance. Reverse every consequence of my past errors and restore all that was lost, in Jesus’ name.
DECLARE: “My future decisions will be led by the Spirit of God!”

6. PRAYER FOR COURAGE TO ENCOURAGE OTHERS

Lord, fill me with Holy Ghost boldness to stand and speak faith into fearful situations, just as Paul encouraged the sailors.
DECLARE: “I am a carrier of hope and faith to my generation!”

7. PRAYER FOR DIVINE ASSURANCE OF DESTINY

Father, as You assured Paul he would stand before Caesar, assure me that I will fulfill my divine assignment. No storm can stop my destiny.
DECLARE: “I will reach my God-appointed destination; nothing can stop me!”

8. PRAYER FOR MIRACULOUS SUPPLY IN CRISIS

Lord, as they lightened the ship and threw things overboard, provide for me supernaturally so I lack nothing in times of crisis.
DECLARE: “My needs are met by Jehovah Jireh in every season!”

9. PRAYER FOR THE SALVATION OF THOSE WITH YOU

Father, just as God granted Paul all who sailed with him, save and preserve my household, friends, and colleagues connected to my destiny.
DECLARE: “My entire household is saved and serving the living God!”

10. PRAYER FOR UNSHAKABLE FAITH

Lord, like Paul, help me say, “I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.” Strengthen my faith to believe Your promises against all odds.
DECLARE: “My faith in God’s Word is unshakable; what He has promised, He will perform!”

Heavenly Father, as I meditate on Paul’s storm and Your faithfulness, I thank You that no storm can drown my destiny. I receive courage, hope, and divine assurance today. My life is hidden in Christ; I will fulfill my purpose. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
