Prayer Points:

1. Prayer for a Faithful Finish and Godly Reflection:

   • Lord, as I stand at the end of this year, I reflect on my spiritual race. Search my heart. Where have I been faithful? Where have I, like Demas, allowed love for the present world to pull me away from my commitment to You and Your purpose? I repent and re-align my affections.

   • By Your grace, I declare that I will finish this year with my faith intact. I receive strength to say with Paul, “I have kept the faith.”

2. Prayer for Discernment & Focus in the New Season:

   • Father, I heed the charge given to Timothy. As a new year dawns, help me to “preach the word” in my life and sphere—to be ready, consistent, and steadfast in my witness, in season and out of season.

   • Deliver me from the spirit of Demas—the spirit of compromise, worldly affection, and abandonment of divine assignments. Let my primary love be for Your appearing and Your kingdom.

3. Prayer for Godly Fellowship and Loyal Companions:

   • Thank You, Lord, for the “Lukes” in my life—the faithful, loyal, and steadfast companions who have stood with me this year. Bless them abundantly. In the coming year, surround me with such people, and make me a “Luke” to others.

   • I pray for any “Demas” in my circle, that they would return to their first love. Give me wisdom to navigate relationships without becoming discouraged or derailed.

4. Prayer to Receive the Crown of Righteousness:

   • Righteous Judge, I set my heart to love Your appearing. My ultimate goal is not worldly success but to hear “Well done.” I pray for endurance to fight the good fight, run the race, and keep the faith until the end, looking forward to the crown laid up for me.

1. I DECLARE that I am finishing this year strong in the faith. I have learned from my stumbles, and I am ending it with my heart turned fully toward God.

2. I DECLARE that I reject the spirit of Demas—the love of this present world that leads to desertion. My affections are set on things above, and my primary love is for Christ and His coming Kingdom.

3. I DECLARE the charge of 2 Timothy 4 over my life for the new year: I will be ready in season and out of season. I will be faithful to the Word, steadfast in longsuffering, and diligent in my God-given assignments.

4. I DECLARE that I am surrounded by faithful, loyal, and godly companions. I am a loyal friend and co-laborer in Christ, and I will not forsake the community of faith or my calling.

5. I DECLARE my life’s goal: to fight the good fight, to finish my race, and to keep the faith. I look forward to the crown of righteousness awarded to all who love Christ’s appearing.

6. I DECLARE as I cross from this year into the next, I do so with a clear conscience, a renewed commitment, and a focused heart, ready to run the next leg of my race with endurance and joy.
