Daily Manna ODM Today 4th March 2026 THE “CHINESE BAMBOO UNIVERSITY”
African bamboo refers to indigenous and introduced bamboo species in Africa, such as the Yushania alpina and the Oxytenanthera abyssinica! Apologies for these big botanical names. Yes! I love the rigidity, ruggedness and toughness of the African bamboo but the Chinese bamboo tree is more inspiring! Its seed is a nut with a very tough skin, and that means it must be constantly watered and manured after being planted. But do you know that from the first to fourth (1st-4th) year, nothing happens or seems to be happening in the physical after planting it? Wow! Welcome to the lesson of life 101 from the “University of the Chinese Bamboo!” An unserious onlooker would give up watering the nut! But in the fifth year, the stalk bursts through the ground and in a period of six weeks, the Chinese bamboo grows to a height of 90 feet! The truth however is that the bamboo grew to 90 feet in 5 years and not in 6 weeks! This is a strong lesson your God wants to deposit in your spirit today concerning 2026! No matter how long it takes for your prayer answers to manifest, never give up on God and never drop your anchor of hope! Even when it seems nothing is happening, heaven wants you to know that behind the scenes, the angels of Jehovah God are moving daily on your behalf! When nothing seems to be happening, God is “cooking” something for your future! Hold on! Despite all the anointed prayers of Elijah, for a discouraging while, the verdict from his servant was, “THERE IS NOTHING” (today’s scripture, vs 43)! That is enough to discourage anyone! In the life of the miracle boy Moses, during a period of 40 years, nothing seemed to be happening until God showed up by fire to confirm his destiny! An English proverb says, “Though hope be a small child, she can carry a great anchor.” Never judge your future by your present, because a misty morning does not signify a cloudy day! Delay is not denial! Obstructions are agents of instructions! Progress and problems are synonymous! By the grace of God, you will laugh last and declare the GLORYof God this year! Hold on!
