40 And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.

41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,

43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.

44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.

45 And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.

46 And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

🙏 PRAYER POINTS

1. Prayer of Purification (Based on Verse 40)

Lord, search my heart and reveal every idol—anything I have loved more than You, trusted more than You, or obeyed more than You. By Your Spirit, tear down these altars. Let not one false god escape the fire of Your judgment. Cleanse me thoroughly and make me wholly Yours.

2. Prayer of Faith (Based on Verse 41)

Father, give me spiritual ears to hear the sound of abundance of rain—even when my natural circumstances report drought. I believe Your promises more than I believe my problems. Before I see the manifestation, I declare by faith that my breakthrough is coming.

3. Prayer of Persistent Intercession (Based on Verses 42-43)

Lord, teach me to pray like Elijah—with humility, intensity, and perseverance. When the enemy says “There is nothing,” give me grace to keep praying. I will not faint. I will not quit. I will continue in prayer until I see Your answer manifest.

4. Prayer for Discernment (Based on Verse 44)

Open my spiritual eyes, Lord, to recognize the “little cloud”—the small beginnings of Your movement. Do not let me despise the day of small things. Give me sensitivity to discern when You are beginning to move, that I may cooperate with Your Spirit.

5. Prayer for Supernatural Empowerment (Based on Verse 46)

Let the hand of the Lord be upon me today. Empower me supernaturally for every task You have assigned. Gird up the loins of my mind—prepare me for action, focus my thoughts, strengthen my spirit. Enable me to run my race with endurance and finish strong.

📢 DECLARATIONS

I DECLARE that every idol in my heart is being torn down. I will not harbor what God condemns. I am cleansed, purified, and made wholly His.

I DECLARE that I hear the sound of abundance of rain! Though my circumstances report drought, my spirit hears the sound of approaching breakthrough.

I DECLARE that I will not give up. Like Elijah, I will pray with persistence. Six times “nothing” will not stop me, for the seventh time brings the cloud.

I DECLARE that I discern the little cloud. I see the first signs of God’s movement. I will not despise small beginnings, for great blessings are on the way.

I DECLARE that the hand of the Lord is upon me. I am supernaturally empowered for every challenge. I have girded up my loins and I am ready to run my race.

I DECLARE that I will finish my assignment with joy. By God’s grace, I will run all the way to the entrance of His purposes for my life.
