Welcome! Today and tomorrow’s devotional scripture/story is a tragedy and a school on the SELFISHNESS OF THE HUMAN NATURE! In this year 2026, don’t be so carried away with the success stories of others and how things have gone for them that you forget to write your own! And remember, you won’t always be a priority to others, and that’s why you have to be a priority to yourself. Learn to respect yourself, take care of yourself, and become a daily part of your own support system. For example, pastors should not think that everybody loves them in their congregation! Most people are there because you are just AN OPTION FOR MIRACLES! Same applies to everyone! It was Maya Angelou who penned, “Never make someone a priority when all you are to them is an option.” IN THIS YEAR 2026, DELETE those to whom your life is not a PRIORITY BUT JUST AN OPTION! You either learn your way towards writing your own script in life, or you will unknowingly become an actor in someone else’s script. That was what happened in today’ scripture! The young prophet made the old prophet his priority! Incredible change happens when you decide to make yourself and your God a priority! God had told the young prophet not to eat or drink until he returned to Judah. But he became an actor in somebody’s script! Don’t make that MISTAKE this year… (Continued tomorrow…)!
