Reject the illusion of your comfort and learn from a woman of diamond who rejected food in order to win a “gold medal” that no beauty/money could buy! That was queen Esther in yesterday’s devotional! Then look at Jesus, the KING of all kings who came from a PALACE not made with hands, gold or bricks! His PALACE is called, “THE FOURSQUARE CITY” – heaven of eternities! Yet, He came to earth and never forgot that THERE WAS WAR IN HEAVEN! Yes! INDEED, LIFE IS WAR! No wonder He began His earthly assignment with 40 days prayer and fasting and also, with regular daily encounters ALONE WITH HIS FATHER! It was from His mouth we heard in today’s 2nd scripture vs. 29: “…this kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.” Wow! So there are some battles, challenges, foundations, satanic bullets, delays, etc, that RESPONDS TO NOTHING except PRAYERS mixed with FASTING! Note: THIS KIND! A hundred people can have the same challenge but YOUR KIND may be the type that responds to ONLY PRAYER and fasting! Stop listening to ANYBODY who tells you that FASTING is not necessary in this generation! They don’t understand the, “MYSTERY OF ‘THIS KIND.” Join in the upcoming 21-day worldwide fasting programme (January 10th- 30th), 2026.
