BASIC SCRIPTURE FOR 6TH JANUARY 2026 (KJV)

Esther 4:16 (King James Version):

16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Mark 9:14-29 (King James Version):

14 And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.
15 And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.
16 And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?
17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;
18 And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
19 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.
22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.
28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Prayer Points for 6th January 2026

1. Prayer for a Decisive Response in Crisis:
   “Father, in the face of the daunting challenges of this year, grant me the resolve of Esther. Let me not be paralyzed by fear or protocol. I receive the courage to make a decisive spiritual stand, declaring my commitment to seek Your face above all else, whatever the cost.” (Esther 4:16)

2. Prayer for the Power of Corporate Fasting & Prayer:
   “Lord, I recognize that some battles are too great for me alone. I commit to engaging in corporate prayer and fasting. As I unite with other believers in focused spiritual discipline, let our collective faith release Your power to reverse impossible decrees and break longstanding strongholds.” (Esther 4:16; Mark 9:29)

3. Prayer to Confront “This Kind” of Problem:
   “Jesus, You taught that some stubborn problems, chronic issues, and deaf & dumb spirits only flee through prayer and fasting. I confront every ‘this kind’ in my life—generational curses, persistent failures, and chronic struggles—and I pull them down by the spiritual weapons You have ordained.” (Mark 9:29)

4. Prayer for Honest, Growing Faith:
   “Like the boy’s father, I cry out to You, ‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!’ Strengthen my faith where it is weak. Transform my partial belief into complete trust. I declare that with You, all things are possible, and I receive the grace to believe fully for my miracle today.” (Mark 9:23-24)

5. Prayer for Complete Deliverance and Restoration:
   “Mighty Deliverer, I bring every area of my life and my family that has been ‘torn,’ ‘thrown into fire and water,’ and left for dead to Your feet. Rebuke every foul spirit of destruction. Take us by the hand, lift us up, and restore us to full health, soundness, and life.” (Mark 9:22, 27)

Declarations for 2026

1. I declare I have the courage for my “such a time as this” moment. I will take decisive, faith-filled action, surrendered to God’s will.

2. I declare the power of corporate prayer and fasting is activated in my life. My spiritual family and I are pulling down strongholds and changing spiritual atmospheres.

3. I declare every stubborn, “this kind” of problem in my life is defeated now by the force of prayer and fasting. No chronic issue can withstand the power of God.

4. I declare my faith is increasing. I believe that with God, ALL things are possible concerning me. My doubt is being swallowed up by victorious belief.

5. I declare complete deliverance and restoration over my life and household. Every tormenting spirit is rebuked, and I am lifted into wholeness and new life by the hand of Jesus.
