FROM PASTOR NATHANIEL BASSEY
Opening Prophetic Declaration
– You are in a prophetic season! We are in such an alignment that can only be by the mercy of God.
– Exodus 10:9 (NIV): Tonight, we are celebrating a festival unto our God. Something is about to break loose! Declare to the Pharaoh in your life that you’re going with your husband, wife, career, and everything to celebrate a festival unto the Lord!
– You are chosen. You are here tonight because you are here tonight.
– Joel 2:1 (KJV, NKJV) – Blow the trumpet in Zion!
Cry for Mercy
– Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy upon me. Call my name.
– Philippians 2:27 – Father, have mercy on me. Have mercy on the sick tonight.
Call to Worship
– Bless His name.
– When you hear the trumpet, declare His glory.
– Open your mouth and bless the One who’s enthroned on the mercy seat. The One who Himself is the mercy seat.
– This is a sacrifice.
– Psalms 136:1-26 – His mercy endures forever.
Healing Declaration
– There’s a heavy dose of the anointing in this place. God’s glory is in this room.
– There’s someone with a lump on their armpit, it is cancerous. As we blow the trumpet, let it disappear.
– Isaiah 30:29-31 – As we sing the song (JEHOVAH NISSI), let every Assyrian in your life be beaten down.
Declarations of Victory
– Declare that you are surrounded with victories. Declare victory over that situation. Turn around as you pray.
– Begin to tear whatever God has not made for you. Tear evil garment, evil report, death, cancerous reports, conspiracies, declare victory over it!
– SULEJA: Victory over anyone from Suleja. You’re surrounded with multiple, many victories.
– We declare victory in Nigeria.
– 1 Timothy 2:1-2: Praying for your leaders and nations is praying for yourself. Proverbs 11:11 (NKJV) – By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted.
Personal Declarations
– Raise those names of the people you want saved.
– Psalms 102:13 – You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come.
– Judges 21:21 – We prophesy kingdom marriages.
– Be a fool for God’s sake as you dance.
– This is the gate to March (the last day of February). You will march into March. You’ll cross over to victory.
– Exodus 28:2 – I wear beauty and glory.
– There’s an alignment of destinies right now!
– Your star is rising. Genesis 22:17 – I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven.
– Lift up your hands and thank God.
FROM PASTOR PITAN – PRAYERS FOR NIGERIA
- 2 Chronicles 7:14, Daniel 9:4-5: If we are going to pray for Nigeria, we must pray for ourselves.
- Ask God to forgive you and forgive us of our sins in Nigeria: idolatry, witchcraft, sorcery, and acts of disobedience against God and His commandments.
- Let’s pray for our President and all governors, and lawmakers. Pray for peaceful 2027 elections.
- Pray for our youths who need jobs. God will give them creative ideas to make them entrepreneurs.

Festival of Answers
– This is a festival of answers, miracles and a new season.
– Tonight is a night of many prophecies and many declarations. Even if you do not have faith, receive it by grace.
– Hosea 13:13 (MSG): Now, it is time for Ephraim to break out.
Declaration of Breakout
– Lift up your right hand and declare: Tonight, I announce, I show, I break out, I break forth now!
Lazarus Declaration
– My Lazarus will not die! Tonight, any power of hell that will arise against my Lazarus, you are a liar. Right now, fire!
– Whatever the Lord has quickened, raised, pulled or shifted in your life, your Lazarus will not die!
Miracle Activation
– While you’re here right now, let a miracle be happening in your house. Let the hand of the Lord be stretched forth in your favor right now!
– While you’re here, let the Lord begin to speak to them about you. Let the glory of God move around you. Let wrong connections be broken.
Sword of the Spirit
– Acts 12:1-2: Raise your right hand: Herod, you have a sword but I come with the sword of the Spirit. Tonight, I raise the sword of the Spirit over every shame, delay, and wickedness. Tonight, Hallelujah Festival, I raise the sword of God’s word and spirit over every sword of sickness, shame, delay and denial.
– Whatever that is not of the Lord, we command let them bow tonight.
Star Declarations
– Power that monitors your star, it is broken right now!
– Herod that guards great destinies, a structure, system or ordinance that represents the spirit of Herod, let it be reversed right now.
– Revelation 12: That kind of anointing or capacity you carry is bigger than what you imagine. You’re a star but you’re not where you ought to be. Anyone here with the destiny of a star that the devil has vowed to keep on the ground, by the hand of Jehovah, let the hand of the Lord pull back the star where it belongs. Let your star return to where it belongs.
– I cannot be a star on the ground! Powers that keep stars on the ground, fire!
– Acts 12:3: Any plan of any Herod in order to extinguish your light, let it be reversed!
Declaration of “It Will Not Happen Again”
– Lift up your right hand: it will not happen again!
– That prostate enlargement, failure at the edge of breakthrough, that thing disturbing your marital settlement, over your life, it will not happen again.
– Acts 19:4: Any connection or association hindering the work of God in your life – it will not happen again!
PART TWO: COMMENTARY ON THE HALLELUJAH FESTIVAL
The Significance of the Gathering
The Hallelujah Festival at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) marks the culmination of the Hallelujah Challenge – a 28-day journey of prayer, praise, and prophetic declarations. This is not merely an event; it is a divine appointment where heaven meets earth, where worshippers from across Nigeria and beyond gather to celebrate the goodness of God.
The theme, drawn from Exodus 10:9, declares: “We are going to celebrate a festival unto the Lord.” This is not a request made to Pharaoh; it is a declaration of freedom. Every believer at TBS is declaring to every opposing force: I am going to worship, and nothing can stop me.
The Prophetic Alignment
Pastor Nathaniel Bassey opened with a profound statement: “We are in such an alignment that can only be by the mercy of God.” Alignment speaks of divine order, strategic positioning, and supernatural coordination. When destinies align, what was scattered comes together. What was disjointed becomes synchronized. What was impossible becomes possible.
This alignment is not accidental; it is the result of 28 days of seeking God, 28 days of praise, 28 days of prayer. The festival is the convergence point where all these streams meet.
The Cry for Mercy
Throughout the night, the cry for mercy was consistent. Mercy is the foundation of every miracle. It is not what we deserve; it is what we need. When Jesus, the Son of David, had mercy on Bartimaeus, the blind man received sight. When mercy speaks, sicknesses bow, chains break, and destinies shift.
The specific prayer for someone with a cancerous lump to disappear as the trumpet sounded demonstrates the audacious faith of this gathering. Not “maybe” or “hopefully,” but a direct, authoritative declaration.
The Victory Declaration
Victory was declared over multiple fronts:
Personal Victory – Over evil garments, evil reports, cancerous reports, conspiracies.
Geographic Victory – Over Suleja, over Nigeria.
National Victory – Through prayers for leaders, for peaceful elections, for youth employment.
The Star Declarations
Pastor Jerry Eze released powerful declarations about stars and destiny. The imagery is drawn from Revelation 12 and Genesis 22:17. Stars represent:
- Identity – You are a star, created to shine
- Destiny – Your star has a specific orbit, a place where it belongs
- Authority – Stars rule the night; they have dominion over darkness
But stars can be kept on the ground. Powers can monitor and hinder stars from rising. The declaration was clear: “Powers that keep stars on the ground, fire! Let your star return to where it belongs!”
The Lazarus Anointing
Perhaps the most powerful declaration was concerning Lazarus. John 11 records the account of a man who died, was buried for four days, and yet was raised by Jesus. The declaration proclaimed:
“My Lazarus will not die!”
This applies to:
– Dreams that seem dead
– Ministries that appear buried
– Marriages that feel lifeless
– Finances that have withered
– Health that has failed
The promise is that whatever God has quickened, raised, pulled, or shifted will not die. The power of hell that rises against your Lazarus is a liar. Fire consumes it.
The Sword of the Spirit
Drawing from Acts 12, where Herod killed James with the sword and imprisoned Peter, Pastor Jerry Eze declared:
“Herod, you have a sword but I come with the sword of the Spirit. Tonight, I raise the sword of the Spirit over every shame, delay, and wickedness.”
This is spiritual warfare at its most intense. The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). When raised against the swords of sickness, shame, delay, and denial, the Word prevails.
The Declaration of “It Will Not Happen Again”
This declaration addresses cycles and patterns. What has been repeated—failure at the edge of breakthrough, disturbance of marital settlement, prostate enlargement, hindering connections—is commanded to stop. The cycle is broken. The pattern is ended. It will not happen again.
PART THREE: DECLARATIONS FROM THE FESTIVAL

PART FOUR: PRAYER FROM THE FESTIVAL
Father, we thank You for the Hallelujah Festival. We thank You for the alignment of destinies that only Your mercy could bring.
Lord, we cry out for mercy. Have mercy upon us. Have mercy upon the sick. Have mercy upon our nation.
We declare victory over every enemy. Victory over every evil garment. Victory over every evil report. Victory over every cancerous report. Victory over every conspiracy.
We pray for Nigeria. Forgive us our sins – idolatry, witchcraft, sorcery, disobedience. Forgive our nation and heal our land.
We pray for our President, our governors, our lawmakers. Grant them wisdom. Grant them righteousness. Grant them peace. Let the 2027 elections be peaceful and just.
We pray for our youth. Give them creative ideas. Make them entrepreneurs. Provide jobs for the unemployed.
We declare that our stars are rising. Powers that keep stars on the ground, be consumed by fire. Let every star return to where it belongs.
We declare that it will not happen again. Every cycle of failure, every repeated disappointment, every pattern of delay – it stops now.
We march into March in victory. We cross over from February to breakthrough.
In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
PART FIVE: THE CONTINUING IMPACT
The Hallelujah Festival is not just a night; it is a movement. What was released at TBS will continue to reverberate:
In Personal Lives – Healings will manifest. Deliverances will be experienced. Destinies will shift.
In Families – Marriages will be restored. Children will be saved. Households will be transformed.
In Communities – Suleja will experience victory. Nigeria will know peace. The nation will be blessed.
In the Nations – The sound from Lagos will echo across the continents. What happened at TBS will not stay at TBS.
As the final declarations were made and the last songs were sung, a shift occurred. February gave way to March. The old season ended. The new season began.
