What is NSPPD?

The New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), launched in 2020 by Nigerian Pastor Jerry Eze, is a digital innovation that redefines religious freedom and spiritual participation. Rooted in African spirituality, NSPPD uses platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and WhatsApp to create inclusive spaces for worship, prayer, and community-building. The program transforms religious freedom into a networked, participatory, and culturally sovereign experience, liberating participants from isolation, hierarchies, and Western norms.

The influence and impact of the internet, AI, and social media on public religious participation have manifested in various ways. Traditionally, African religions favored face-to-face interaction and in-person participation in ritual and devotional practice. Today, the public sphere has expanded into digital spaces, creating new opportunities for gender inclusivity, greater freedom of religious participation, and innovation in ritual performance and practice.

NSPPD Live Prayer is an online global Fire Prayer Altar viewed all over the world with over half a million people. It is a platform where people get answers through prophetic prayers. The program is anchored by Pastor Jerry Eze, his wife Eno, and Pastor Ugo, and streams from 7:00am through 8:30am from Monday to Friday across platforms.
