PRAYER FOR THE NATIONS

LET’S THANK GOD FOR WHAT HE HAS BEEN DOING OVER THE YEARS.

WHILE WE THANK HIM FOR BRINGING US INTO A NEW BEGINNING, LET’S ALSO THANK HIM FOR THE PAST.

LET’S PRAY TO THE ONE WHO LAID THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD.

ASK THE LORD TO LAY A BRAND NEW FOUNDATION FOR OUR NATIONS. A GOOD, SUCCESSFUL, AND PROGRESSIVE FOUNDATION.

FATHER WE PUT OUR TRUST IN YOU, CAST AWAY ANY FORM OF DOUBT IN OUR MINDS SO WE CAN ENJOY A NEW BEGINNING IN OUR NATION.

FATHER, HUNT DOWN ALL OUR HUNTERS IN JESUS NAME!

ALL THOSE WHO ARE TRYING TO DESTROY US AND BRING US SORROW, CAST THEM DOWN, JEHOVAH!

PART THREE: COMMENTARY ON DAY 2 PROGRAM EVENTS

Overview of Day 2 – Holy Ghost Service

Day 2 of the 40th anniversary celebration followed the traditional Holy Ghost Service format, which has become the signature program of the RCCG for nearly four decades. The service began in the evening and extended into the night, creating an atmosphere where heaven and earth met.

The theme “EXCELLENCE” continued to resonate throughout the service, with every element of worship, prayer, and teaching reflecting the excellent nature of God.

The Worship Experience

The mass choir led an extended time of praise and worship that transported the congregation into the presence of God. Songs of deliverance, victory, and adoration filled the auditorium as millions of voices united in one accord. The worship was not just musical but spiritual, creating an atmosphere where miracles became natural.

Prayer for the Nations – Pastor Folu Adeboye

A significant highlight of Day 2 was the prayer for the nations led by Pastor Folu Adeboye, the beloved wife of the General Overseer. Her ministry at the altar brought a maternal dimension to the proceedings, combining intercession with compassion.

The prayer points reflected a deep understanding of the times:
– Thanksgiving for the past – Acknowledging God’s faithfulness over the years
– Prayer for new foundations – Asking God to establish fresh structures for nations
– Trust and doubt removal – Casting away unbelief that hinders national progress
– Judgment on hunters – Praying against those who seek to destroy and bring sorrow
– Restoration – Asking God to rebuild what has been broken

Other Ministering Guests

Throughout Day 2, several anointed ministers of God brought forth the Word. While the main message was reserved for Daddy G.O., guest ministers laid the foundation with teachings that prepared hearts for the main encounter. These ministers represented the unity of the body of Christ, coming from various denominations and nations.

The Main Message

Pastor E.A. Adeboye ministered the main message of the night, continuing the theme of Excellence. He expounded on the excellent nature of God and the call for believers to reflect that excellence in their lives. The message was punctuated with testimonies, prophetic declarations, and an altar call that brought many to salvation.

Miracles and Manifestations

As is characteristic of the Holy Ghost Service, signs and wonders were evident throughout the night. Testimonies of healing, deliverance, and breakthrough were shared from the platform, building faith for greater manifestations. The atmosphere was charged with the supernatural as the power of God moved through the congregation.

PART FOUR: EXPANDED PRAYER POINTS FOR NATIONS

Thanksgiving for Past Faithfulness

1. Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness to our nations over the years. Despite challenges, You have preserved us, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, we thank You for the foundations laid by our forefathers – spiritual, moral, and structural. Let their labour not be in vain, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, we thank You for bringing us into a new beginning. The past is gone, and new things are springing forth, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, we thank You for every leader You have raised in our nations, past and present. Let Your will be done through them, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for New Foundations

1. Father, we ask You to lay a brand new foundation for our nations. A foundation of righteousness, justice, and peace, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, let every faulty foundation in our nations be exposed and rebuilt. Establish structures that honour You, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, give our nations a good, successful, and progressive foundation that will stand the test of time, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, let the foundations of our nations be so strong that no storm of enemy attack can shake them, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Against Doubt and Fear

1. Father, we put our trust in You. Cast away every form of doubt in our minds that hinders national progress, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, remove the spirit of fear from our citizens. Let faith and courage arise in our nations, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, let unbelief be replaced with unwavering confidence in Your ability to save and restore, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, help us to enjoy a new beginning in our nations by trusting You completely, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Against Destroyers

1. Father, hunt down all our hunters. Every person plotting evil against our nations, expose and scatter them, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, cast down those who are trying to destroy us and bring us sorrow. Let their plans backfire, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, frustrate every agenda of terrorists, kidnappers, and evil men against our nations, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, let the weapons of the wicked perish while the righteous stand firm, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Restoration and Building

1. Father, as You hunt down our hunters, build our nations back up. Restore what the enemy has stolen, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, rebuild our economies, our educational systems, our healthcare, and our moral fabric, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, let restoration flow like a river across our nations. Let every wasted place be rebuilt, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, raise up builders who will repair the ruins and restore the ancient foundations, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Leaders

1. Father, give our nations God-fearing leaders who will rule with justice and compassion, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, grant wisdom to our presidents, governors, and lawmakers. Let them make decisions that honour You and benefit the people, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, protect our leaders from evil counsel and corrupt influences, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, raise up leaders after Your own heart who will shepherd the people with integrity, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Peace and Unity

1. Father, let peace reign in our nations. Silence every voice of violence and discord, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, unite our people across tribal, ethnic, and religious lines. Let us be one nation under God, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, heal every wound of division and let the balm of reconciliation flow, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, let our nations be examples of peace and unity to the rest of the world, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Economic Prosperity

1. Father, bless the economies of our nations. Let there be jobs for the unemployed and provision for the needy, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, frustrate every economic sabotage and let prosperity flow to all citizens, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, raise up entrepreneurs and innovators who will create wealth and solve problems, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, let our nations experience supernatural economic turnaround, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for the Youth

1. Father, arise for the youth of our nations. Give them vision, purpose, and direction, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, deliver our young people from drug abuse, immorality, and hopelessness. Give them a future and a hope, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, raise up young leaders who will carry the banner of righteousness into the next generation, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, let the youth of our nations be agents of positive change and transformation, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for the Church

1. Father, let Your church in our nations arise in purity, power, and purpose. Let us be the light of the world, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, unite the body of Christ across denominations. Let us work together for the advancement of Your kingdom, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, let the church be a voice of truth and a force for righteousness in our nations, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, let revival sweep through our nations, starting from Your house, in Jesus’ name.

PART FIVE: TESTIMONIES FROM DAY 2

Testimony of Healing

A woman who had been bedridden for seven years was carried into the service. During the worship, she felt strength return to her limbs. By the time the prayer for the nations was concluded, she was standing and walking. She testified that the God who heals nations also heals individuals.

Testimony of Deliverance

A young man bound by drug addiction for over a decade encountered the power of God during the service. He testified that the chains of addiction were supernaturally broken, and he was set free. He dedicated his life to Christ and vowed to use his testimony to help others.

Testimony of Financial Breakthrough

A businessman who had been on the verge of bankruptcy attended the service with his last seed offering. During the prayer for nations, he felt a release of faith. Within hours of the service, he received a call that a long-awaited contract had been approved, turning his situation around completely.

Testimony of Marital Restoration

A couple who had been separated for two years attended the service separately, unaware of each other’s presence. During the altar call, they met at the altar and reconciled. They testified that God not only heals nations but also heals homes.

PART SIX: DECLARATIONS FOR NATIONS

I DECLARE that our nations shall experience a new beginning!

I DECLARE that God is laying a brand new foundation of excellence over our lands!

I DECLARE that every hunter hunting our nations shall be hunted down by God!

I DECLARE that those who seek to destroy us shall be cast down!

I DECLARE that restoration is flowing like a river across our nations!

I DECLARE that doubt and fear are removed from the hearts of our citizens!

I DECLARE that our nations shall enjoy peace, prosperity, and progress!

I DECLARE that God-fearing leaders shall arise to govern with justice!

I DECLARE that the youth of our nations shall walk in vision and purpose!

I DECLARE that the church shall arise in power and purity!

I DECLARE that Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever, is working in our nations!

I DECLARE that the God of excellence is establishing excellence in our lands!

I DECLARE that our nations shall be a light to the world!

I DECLARE that every evil foundation is replaced with divine foundation!

I DECLARE that the latter glory of our nations shall be greater than the former!

PART SEVEN: PRAYER FOR NATIONS

Father, we come before You on this Day 2 of the 40th Holy Ghost Service anniversary. We thank You for the privilege of praying for our nations.

Lord, we offer excellent praise to You, the excellent God. We magnify Your holy name for Your wonderful works over our nations throughout the years.

We thank You for bringing us into a new beginning. We also thank You for the past – for every foundation laid, for every victory won, for every mercy shown.

Father, we ask You to lay a brand new foundation for our nations. A foundation of righteousness, justice, peace, and prosperity. Let it be good, successful, and progressive.

We put our trust in You. Cast away every form of doubt from our minds so we can enjoy this new beginning.

Hunt down all our hunters, O Lord. Every person plotting evil against our nations, expose them. Cast down those who are trying to destroy us and bring us sorrow.

As You hunt down our hunters, build our nations back up. Restore our economies, our systems, our families, our youth, our churches.

We declare that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What He has done for nations in the past, He will do again. He is faithful.

Let the God of excellence establish excellence in our lands.
