Oke Ako, a community in the Ajoni Local Council Development Area of Ekiti State, Nigeria, erupted in joy in mid-February this year as a cleric, Michael Adeyeye of Christ Apostolic Church, escaped unhurt from the four gunmen who abducted/KIDNAPPED him some days earlier! Residents of the community could not believe their ears when news filtered in a few days later that the cleric (Pastor) had escaped. The cleric, while recalling his experience said that, he alongside the four gunmen who had demanded for 15 million naira (about $37,000) ransom, walked in the forest for 2 days. Unfortunately for the four gunmen, at about 5 am the following day, the covenant of divine prophetic protection was provoked! The great man of God, the late founder of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Apostle Ayo Babalola, appeared in a vision and woke up the cleric who was already feeling dizzy and sleepy! At that point, he discovered that his kidnappers, who were well-armed with guns/dangerous weapons, had all fallen INTO SLEEP AND DEEP SLUMBER! Oh! Shout “Glory to God.” No wonder Job 5: 19 says: “He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.” In today’s scripture Vs. 18, those that came to embarrass, hurt and arrest Elisha, were blinded…(TO BE CONTINUED TOMORROW).
