21 No grave [a]trouble will overtake the righteous,But the wicked shall be filled with evil.
22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,But those who deal truthfully are His delight.
23 A prudent man conceals knowledge,But the heart of fools proclaims foolishness.
24 The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.
25 Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.
26 The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.
27 The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting,But diligence is man’s precious possession.
28 In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death.

Welcome to today’s devotional encounter with the OPEN REWARD GOD that faithfully rewards every labour of love. Let’s start today with two proverbs: “Towards evening, the lazy person begins to get busy” (a German proverb). Then catch this – “The lazier a man is, the more he plans to do tomorrow” (a Norwegian proverb). And hear the words of Solomon, “The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting…” I ask myself, “why won’t he roast it?” Simply because he tells himself, “I WILL ROAST IT IN THE EVENING.”
And then, when evening comes, he tells himself, “I WILL ROAST IT TOMORROW.” These are words and excuses borrowed from the LIBRARY OF PROCRASTINATION and they have reduced many potential great men/women from the place of greatness and honour. These words have stopped millions from attaining the peak that heaven destined for them. I pray, that will not be your portion. What have you been pushing till tomorrow? What is your excuse? BURY THOSE EXCUSES TODAY AND GET BUSY.
Heaven Is Waiting On You. Doors Of Favour Will Not Open Until You Step Out And Get Busy. THE LONGER YOU PROCRASTINATE your daily prayer life, your daily disciplined Bible study hour, reading career books, etc, THE LONGER YOU POSTPONE YOUR GLORY HOUR! Hear Mr. Jimmy Lons: “Tomorrow is the only day in the year that appeals to a lazy man.” Col. Sanders did not start Kentucky Fried Chicken until he was in his mid sixties. Abraham did not move out of his father’s country until he was in his late seventies.
Moses did not move into Egypt to deliver the children of Israel until he was in his eighties. These men had a lot of things that worked for them as soon as they stepped out; But What If They Had Started Earlier? What If Jesus Had Waited Till 64 Before Going To John The Baptist To Get Baptised? Stop the procrastination thief TODAY. Don’t let procrastination rob you of your glory and honour.
