Topic: THE ALEXANDRIA LIBRARY FIRE WIPED OUT ALL KNOWLEDGE!
Welcome to today’s devotional! Centuries ago, thousands of books at the Library of Alexandria caught fire. Alexandria was the place to do research in the ancient world. Then on a fateful day in 47 BC, Julius Caesar set fire to his ships in the Alexandrian harbor to prevent them from falling into enemy hands. The fire soon spread to the docks and the naval arsenal, ultimately destroying 400,000 of the library’s precious scrolls! Thus, all or nearly all KNOWLEDGE in the ANCIENT WORLD WAS WIPED OUT! Amazing! Such a tragedy shows just how perishable written materials can be! This makes the preservation of the Bible such a marvel to the world! The Word of God (the Bible) has survived book burning, riots, revolutions, persecutions,and catastrophes. Yet scholars tell us that the manuscripts have been accurately preserved through a millennia of copying. Oh God! The God who preserved the Bible against all odds will preserve all yours this season. Any satanic orchestrated mistake meant to destroy or bring sorrow to your life, family and ministry shall pass over you in Jesus name! Vs. 8 of today’s scripture says, “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever.” Use today’s devotion to superimpose the Word of God in your spirit, and decree that it shall stand forever in your life and destiny. Also decree that no situation, circumstance, challenge or battle of life shall stand or withstand the Word of God in your life, family and ministry! Yea! THE BANNER OF THE WORD MUST PREVAIL! YOU WILL NEVER END IN SHAME! Amen Pray now!
