ODM TOPIC: FEAR GIVES WINGS TO LAME ENEMIES!
I love the story about the Syrian army. This was a very great army that caused a whole city like Samaria to shut their gates to the outside world, because this army was very fierce. The army was so fierce that all the citizens of Samaria did not mind whether they lacked food or not; they just shut themselves indoors until there was no food and there was famine in the whole land. Women were even eating their children. But, they chose to rather die of hunger than face the army outside! As big and fearsome as this army was, guess what defeated them – it was fear of the unknown! Ha! Fear is not a respecter of persons! Fear can make the biggest of armies to become nothing! The Bible recorded that God made the Syrian army to hear a noise of chariots, and immediately, they ran for their lives. They didn’t see anything, not one horse, yet a well-armed army fled. Guess who took their places? Four lepers! Hear me, you have acted in fear for too long! You have given room for lepers to dine and wine in your sacred places for too long! Now is the time to take your place. I declare upon you: Every power of fear operating in your life, I release the fire of the Holy Ghost upon them right now! Mark Twain said, “Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear – not absence of fear.” Read that again. Fear will always be there. But once you master fear, you are in charge of your destiny. But FEAR CAN ONLY BE MASTERED BY FAITH! And FAITH CAN ONLY BE DEVELOPED THROUGH A DISCIPLINED STUDY OF THE WORD OF GOD! FAITH COMES BY HEARING THE WORD! Fear can also come by hearing NOISE from the devil (today’s 1st scripture)! Receive the power of the Holy Ghost to defeat fear right now!!! Victory is yours! You will NEVER FAIL in Jesus name!
