ODM TOPIC: GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES
Welcome to today’s devotional! When God made you, it was not an afterthought! Do you know that no one knows you the way God knows you? He did not create you to fail. I love what Kenneth Copeland said, “There are no God-made failures.” In other words, GOD IS NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF MAKING FAILURES! If God sets out to create something, He is going to do all that He can to ensure that, that thing succeeds and radiates His glory. Look at the way David put it: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”(Today’s scripture vs. 14). Remember these words from Joel Osteen, “You are not what people call you, you are what you answer to.” People may call you foolish, wicked, stingy, dumb, stupid, poor, broke, useless…and all sorts of names. If you refuse to answer to those names, their words will not become a reality over you! Instead of paying attention to those negative labels, pay attention to what God, your Creator, has said and is saying about you. The Word makes it clear: God makes no mistake! When God created you, He wasn’t having a bad day! He made you and said you are VERY GOOD! “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19). Yes, God cannot make a mistake and HE CANNOT LIE! YOU ARE VERY GOOD! I am also reminded of Luke 23:4, “Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, ‘I find no fault in this Man.” He had no fault and there are no God-made failures! All things (good or bad) will work out for your good at last if you hold on and trust Him! (Any ceremony/anniversary without an ODM copy is incomplete!
