TOPIC: ARE YOU READY TO RETURN ALL HIS PAST OXYGEN? BE SUPER GRATEFUL! – 2
From yesterday’s devotional, we saw how a boss reverted to an old salary and even threatened the staff that he would lose his job if he did not return all the money added to his salary. If God were to do that, I wonder who would live to tell the tale. If God Told You To Return All The Oxygen You Have Breathed Since You Were Born, Will You Survive The Next One Minute? Being thankful to God for little things means you are telling Him that if He did bigger things, you would give even bigger praise to Him. Zig Ziglar said, “Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions.” Wow! In other words, gratitude makes you healthier, while ingraitiude will bring depression and sorrow. Melody Beattie also said, “Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.” In this 2nd quarter of 2026 and beyond, you must stop taking the blessings of God for granted! You have been echoing your prayer points to God for days and beginning to feel that God does not answer prayers. If it was true that God does not answer prayers, you wouldn’t be alive today to blame God! Psalm 9:1 says, “I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart…” Not part-praise, not one from the mouth, but from ALL THE HEART! Note: FROM THE HEART! Ask yourself again; have you thanked Him for the air you breathe? Have you thanked Him that you did not eat sand yesterday? Just because there is a matter in your life, does not mean that you should forget the Master of your life! NO MATTER SHOULD BLOCK YOU FROM THE MASTER! That you are up this morning is not by your alarm clock! It is by the grace of God. Stop reasoning the goodness of God with your mind. Use your heart and you will see how ungrateful you have been for so long. See verse 20 of today’s scripture and pray now.
