DAILY FASTING AND PRAYER FOR THE FORTHCOMING ANNUAL CONVENTION
DAY 10 – PRAYER FOR THE ELECTRICAL SOUND SYSTEM AND OTHER TECHNICAL DEPARTMENTS
Theme: Mountain Movers
Introduction
The RCCG Annual Convention is a time of divine visitation, supernatural encounters, and mountain-moving faith. As we prepare for this convention, we embark on a season of fasting and prayer, focusing each day on a specific theme that aligns our hearts with God’s purposes.
Day 10 is dedicated to praying for the Electrical Sound System and Other Technical Departments. This is a time to intercede for all the technical personnel, equipment, and systems that will be used to facilitate the convention. The success of any large gathering depends on the seamless operation of sound, lighting, and media systems. These departments ensure that the Word of God is heard clearly, the worship is experienced powerfully, and the message is transmitted effectively to millions around the world.
Why Pray for the Technical Departments?
1. Technology Is a Tool for the Gospel
Advancements in technology have been a blessing to the global propagation of the gospel. Through sound systems, lighting, media, and broadcasting, the message of Christ reaches millions who cannot be physically present. It is essential to commit these tools to God so that they are used effectively for His glory.
2. Technical Personnel Need Wisdom and Anointing
The engineers, technicians, sound engineers, and media specialists who operate these systems need divine wisdom and anointing to resolve any technical issues that may arise. Their skill, combined with God’s grace, ensures smooth operations throughout the convention.
3. Protection Against Technical Failures
Technical failures can disrupt the flow of the service and hinder the move of God. It is important to pray against any attempt of the enemy to sabotage the equipment or create confusion. Divine protection over all gadgets and systems is essential.
4. Effective Transmission of the Word
The Word of God must be heard clearly and without distortion. Sound and lighting should not be a distraction but a vehicle for the presence of God. Praying for these departments ensures that the message is delivered with clarity and power.
5. Thanksgiving for Technological Advancements
We must give thanks for the role technology has played in advancing the work of the mission worldwide. From Dove Media to RTM and other media organs, the Church has been blessed with tools that make the gospel accessible globally.
