Welcome to this hour of HIS GLORY and SIGNATURE! Saint Catherine of Siena penned, “Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.” I remember Saint Josemaria Escriva’s call: “Become a bonfire, a living flame” through prayer! In this upcoming 21- day fast (January 10th – 30th), God wants you to pray until the same TONGUE OF FIRE OF ACTS 2: 3 falls on you! This is a year of His GLORY and His SIGNATURE! One of His signatures in the Bible is FIRE! That was why the great man called Brook penned, “As a painted fire is not fire, a dead man is no man, so a cold prayer is no prayer. In painted fire, there is no heat; in a dead man there is no life. So in a cold prayer, there is no power, no devotion, no blessing.” Wow! A COLD PRAYER IS NO PRAYER! Work as if everything depends on you. Pray as if everything depends on God! Reject distractions in the upcoming 21- day fast because 2026 is your year! Martin Luther opined, “To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.” Prayer transforms chaos into clarity! E.M Bounds screamed aloud: “Prayers outlive the lives of those who uttered them; outlive a generation, outlive an age, outlive a world.” Then John Wesley dropped this bomb, “Have you any days of fasting and prayer? Storm the throne of grace and persevere therein, and mercy will come down.” Amen! Quit playing! Start cutting down on your food and socials! Start praying! Start fasting gradually!
