BASIC SCRIPTURE FOR 3RD JANUARY 2026 (KJV)

Acts 2:1-11 (King James Version):

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Prayer Points for 3rd January 2026

1. Prayer for Unity of Purpose:
   “Father, as Your disciples were gathered in one accord, unite my heart with fellow believers in my family, church, and community. Let there be no strife or division, but a single-minded focus on Your presence and promise, creating an atmosphere for Your power to fall.” (Acts 2:1)

2. Prayer for the Suddenlies of God:
   “Lord, I pray for a divine ‘suddenly’ in my life this year. Let Your mighty wind of revival, breakthrough, and supernatural change fill my house and my situation unexpectedly. Interrupt my routine with Your glorious power.” (Acts 2:2)

3. Prayer for the Baptism and Fire of the Holy Spirit:
   “Holy Spirit, come upon me afresh. Clothe me with Your power from on high. Let the fire of Your presence purify me, empower me for witness, and rest upon my life for clear direction and boldness.” (Acts 2:3)

4. Prayer for Supernatural Utterance and Communication:
   “Fill me to overflowing with Your Holy Ghost. Grant me divine utterance to pray effectively and to speak Your word with clarity and power. Let my communication—both spiritual and natural—break every barrier and proclaim Your wonderful works.” (Acts 2:4)

5. Prayer for a Testimony That Reaches All Nations:
   “Lord, let my life and testimony transcend every natural and cultural barrier. As the disciples spoke to every nation, let my influence and the report of Your goodness in my life reach far and wide, causing amazement and drawing others to You.” (Acts 2:5-11)

Declarations for 2026

1. I declare I am in one accord with the body of Christ. My spirit is united with God’s purpose, creating a dwelling place for His manifest power.

2. I declare I am positioned for the “suddenlies” of God. My season of waiting is over; unexpected breakthroughs and divine visitations are my portion this year.

3. I declare I am filled with the Holy Ghost and fire. I am empowered, purified, and ignited for God’s service.

4. I declare the Spirit gives me utterance. I have the right word for every situation, and my speech ministers grace and reveals the wonderful works of God.

5. I declare my testimony is global and impactful. Barriers of language, culture, and distance are broken by God’s power working through my life.
