Welcome to today’s devotional hour of, “VICTORY OVER EVERY RED SEA!” Today’s scripture is serious! As we journey through life, lots of time we think we have done God a favour by being Born Again or serving Him instead of the devil. There were seasons of my life when I thought that after praying for 14 or 21 days with fasting, God would appear and say with a loud voice: “Well done Chris.” There were times when I prayed for people I did not even know and I expected God to be grateful that I was praying for His sheep! There are seasons when you give a good offering and you feel that God owes you the biggest smile in the world. There are seasons when you forgive those who hurt you and you feel that God Himself owes you a resounding, “Thank you.” Truly, there are times when I feel that I have lived a holy life and pleased God, so He should be grateful and I should not be allowed to go through any further temptation or trial, but today’s first scripture vs. 10 says: “So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.” Did you get that? That means whatever you are doing for God is only your expected duty and GOD DOES NOT OWE YOU ANYTHING! Yes, He (Jehovah God) is all-wise and He knows your pain and that serving Him has a reward, but do not translate any delayed reward into SLUMBER on His part! Your holiness is for your own good and does not make God holier (See Job 35:7)! Each time you forgive, the peace is yours and your health is preserved. Each time you give to God, He is pleased, but first you are the debtor because He first gave you the gift of life (See Job 22:3). So, refuse to accuse God; He owes you nothing than the gift of life! Millions are dead who were better prayer warriors or givers than you! Your patience is for your good because much hurry provokes much worry; your prayers/daily Bible study is for your good because wisdom separates failures from winners. In this year 2025, refuse to be bitter against God because: He does not sleep nor slumber; You Owe Him Everything, For The Gift Of Life! Pray seriously now! (See Page 39 For Our New Account Details).
