Welcome to today’s devotional SIGNATURE and GLORY hour! The LORD wants you to catch this in 2026: “If you can fix a problem, fix it. If you can’t, then accept it and change your thoughts about it. Stop the worry or anxiety.” Whatever you do, don’t attempt to invest more energy than you have, tripping over something behind you or something that only exists inside your imagination. Note: THINGS THAT EXIST IN YOUR IMAGINATION! Ah! I was a champion in that terrible habit! Such things include, FEAR OF THE FUTURE or FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN! Why would you be imagining things like, “What if this decision does not go well?” There are people always thinking, “What if this plane crashes or what if I have a road accident, etc? What if robbers attack me or what if I suffer losses?” Many people dwell on, “What if this happens or what if that happens, etc?” Truth be told, some of the most powerful moments in life happen when you find the courage to let go of what can’t be changed! Did you get that? DON’T TRY TO CONTROL THE UNCONTROLLABLE THIS YEAR! When you are no longer able to change a situation, you are challenged to change yourself – to grow beyond the unchangeable! And that changes everything because you now look up to God in TRUST! Oh! I love this 1931 popular prayer by Protestant theologian, Reinhold Niebuhr, “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” Psalm 25: 2 says, “O my God, I trust in Thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.” Stop the PANIC and MENTAL ANXIETY!
