PSALM 25:1-7 (NKJV)

1 To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4 Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.
5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.
6 Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.

PRAYER POINTS & DECLARATIONS

1. POSTURE OF TRUST & SURRENDER (v1-2)

• Prayer Point: Lord, I lift my soul to You today. I choose not to rely on my own strength or understanding. I place my complete trust in You. I pray that You guard me from shame and disappointment; let no enemy—visible or invisible—triumph over my life, family, or destiny.

• Declaration: I declare that my trust is in God alone. I will not be put to shame. Every scheme of the enemy to disgrace me is nullified in Jesus’ name.

2. PRAYER FOR THE RIGHTEOUS & AGAINST TREACHERY (v3)

• Prayer Point: Father, I stand in prayer for all who wait upon You. Let their hope never become a source of shame. I pray that You vindicate the righteous and expose every treacherous plan and covenant of deceit formed against Your people.

• Declaration: I declare that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength and see His faithfulness. Every treacherous deed against my life shall backfire upon the heads of its originators.

3. REQUEST FOR DIVINE GUIDANCE (v4-5)

• Prayer Point: O Lord, my world is full of confusing paths. I ask for Your divine guidance. Show me Your specific way for my life. Teach me Your paths of righteousness, wisdom, and peace. Lead me in Your absolute truth for every decision I must make today.

• Declaration: I declare that I am led by the Spirit of God. I walk in His wisdom and discernment. My steps are ordered by the Lord, and I will not walk in confusion or error.

4. A PLEA FOR COVENANT MERCIES (v6)

• Prayer Point: Lord, I appeal to Your covenant character today. Remember Your tender mercies and Your unfailing love (chesed) that have been shown from ages past. Let that same covenant-keeping love surround and uphold me now.

• Declaration: I declare that I am a beneficiary of God’s everlasting mercies and lovingkindness. His covenant promises over my life are “Yes” and “Amen.”

5. PRAYER FOR MERCY & FORGIVENESS (v7)

• Prayer Point: Gracious God, according to Your abundant mercy, remember me for good. Do not hold against me the sins of my past—the failures of my youth or my recent transgressions. Wash me clean and let me stand before You clothed in Your righteousness.

• Declaration: I declare that I am forgiven and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. God’s mercy triumphs over judgment in my life. My past is erased, and my future is bright because of His goodness.
