Key Message Commentary – The Triumphant Christian (Part 1): Our Destiny in Christ
All over the world, people wake up each morning and spend their days running, striving, and trying to make meaning out of their lives.
For many, achieving their goals brings encouragement. For others, repeated frustration makes victory and dominion seem far out of reach. This has led some into depression and even suicide — all because of the sincere effort to make meaning out of life.
But we must ask: Did the God who created mankind design us to fail? Did He create us to remain in limbo, to go around in circles, or to live without direction, purpose, or victory? Certainly not.
When life becomes a cycle of striving without meaning, it is often a sign that we have missed something concerning God’s blueprint for how to live.
There is a way God designed the believer to live — a life of purpose, victory, and dominion.
What is wrong with the man who is without Christ?
The Bible recognises the concept of a man without Christ — the unsaved, the unbelieving, and the spiritually dead.
Scripture categorises people using different parameters:
• Age (children, young men, elders)
• Knowledge (enlightened and unenlightened)
• Wealth (rich and poor)
• Spirituality (saved and unsaved; spiritually dead and alive; slaves to sin and those set free)
The real question is not merely what a man has, but the state of his spirit.
Who is a Christian / the Believer in Christ?
A triumphant Christian must first be a Christian.
A Christian is not merely someone born into a Christian home, who attends church, or identifies with the Christian faith.
A Christian is:
– One who believes in and follows Jesus Christ
– One who has consciously received salvation by believing the Gospel and placing faith in Jesus Christ
– One who is born again and has received the life of God
– One who has been empowered to live like Christ (reflecting His character) and function like Christ (demonstrating His wisdom and power)
The Gospel is that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. A Christian is one who believes this Gospel and places his faith in Jesus Christ.
Christianity is more than a name — it is a life received, lived, and expressed through Christ.
Seven Channels Through Which God Ministers to His People
- Prayer
- Heartfelt Praise & Worship – When we truly minister to the Lord, we often do not need to make a request. He responds with the riches of His glory.
- Testimonies – Testimonies provoke faith for the replication of the same miracles in our lives.
- Giving – Faith and obedience connect us to the blessings of God.
- The Word – It brings understanding, illumination, and empowerment. It quickens our understanding and strengthens us.
- The Prophetic – Healings and miracles are often an outflow of the prophetic.
- Fellowship – God ministers to us through our fellowship with Him and with His people.
God’s method has always been, and will always be, His Word.
Prophetic Declarations & Prayer Focus
The manifestation of the wisdom of God is an interplay of the power of God and the strategy of God.
Pray:
Father, let there be a supernatural display of Your power and Your wisdom at tonight’s service in the name of Jesus Christ!
Lift your hands and receive:
– A new thing is springing forth in your life
– Dimensions of hunger, faith, and Holy Ghost fire are awakened
– Your spiritual climate is shifting
– Fresh consecration and empowerment for your divine assignment
– The outpouring of the Spirit upon every life connected
It is dangerous to have only a few hands that can be trusted with the programme of God transcontinentally.
Because when they are few, an attack on their lives can threaten the assignment. And when people are alone and few, they also stand the risk of pride. This is why more people must arise.

There was a time in the Body of Christ when the revelation of the believer’s identity was strong. But over time, we began to downplay it, considering it too elementary while pursuing visions, deeper experiences, and other spiritual experiences. In the process, some began building skyscrapers in the Spirit while detaching themselves from the foundation.

Today, people have visions but do not know whether those visions are from God. They pray, fast, and give, yet seem unable to generate energy in the Spirit, because certain foundational truths or essentials were neglected in their spiritual development.
You cannot build a strong spiritual life by neglecting the foundation. Before pursuing deeper experiences, establish yourself in the essential truths of your identity in Christ.
