Commentary
Pastor Jerry Eze opens the month of May 2026 with a powerful prophetic focus on the number five, which in Scripture consistently represents GRACE – unearned, unmerited, divine favor and empowerment. Unlike the previous month’s theme of finality and violent victory over accusations and Jezebel, May ushers in a new spiritual atmosphere: the abundance of grace.
The anchor scripture, Zechariah 4:7, presents a dramatic image: a great mountain standing in the way of Zerubbabel’s rebuilding project. But the mountain does not stand forever. It becomes a plain – level ground – not through struggle, sweat, or striving, but through the cry of “GRACE, GRACE unto it.” This is Pastor Jerry’s declaration for every obstacle you face in May: financial mountains, marital mountains, career mountains, health mountains.
