TOPIC: THE TWO CRUCIFIXIONS!
BASIC SCRIPTURE: GALATIANS 6: 11-18
11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.
12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Vs. 14 of today’s scripture says:” But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” Wow! I call this the TWO CRUCIFIXIONS: THE WORLD WAS CRUCIFIED TO PAUL AND HE WAS CRUCIFIED TO THE WORLD! What he was communicating was that His life did not MAKE SENSE to the WORLD and the WORLD did not MAKE SENSE (appeal to him).Then he went on to say that HE WOULD GLORY IN THE CROSS! HE WOULD BOAST IN THE CROSS!

This is strange because the CROSS is AN UGLY PAST and humanly speaking, a “FAILURE.” THE CROSS CRIMINALS in those days! So how could Apostle Paul glory in the cross? Glory in shame? Glory in weakness? Yes! It’s because he knew that IN GOD’S AGENDA, it was the CROSS THAT LED TO THE THRONE! God is not a man! He uses FAILURE as the raw material for FORTUNE! He turns SHAME to FAME!
If GOD wants to GLORIFY YOU, HE WILL allow you to pass through a season of GROANING! In God’s agenda, it is PAIN that is the father of GAIN! That DELAY is what God will use eventually to produce your DANCING testimony! So why give up now? Hear John Piper: “Life is wasted if we do not grasp the glory of the cross, cherish it for the treasure that it is and cleave to it as the highest price of every pleasure and the deepest comfort in every pain.

Lord, like Apostle Paul, I confess that the world is CRUCIFIED and CONDEMNED concerning me. I shall never be a victim of this TEMPORARY WORLD OF VANITY! My prayer life and Bible study life shall INCREASE IN FIRE! I refuse to love the world! I shall GLORY in the cross.

Lord, use my life to show that the word “IMPOSSIBLE’ always ends with the word “POSSIBLE.” I refuse to quit trusting (Pray it seriously till you have peace to stop – for 3 days). Our Daily Manna 11 September 2021 – TOPIC: THE TWO CRUCIFIXIONS!
