DAILY FASTING AND PRAYER FOR THE FORTHCOMING ANNUAL CONVENTION
DAY 7 – 2026 ANNUAL CONVENTION
Theme: Mountain Movers
Introduction: The Annual Convention – A Divine Appointment
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Annual Convention is one of the most anticipated spiritual events in the Christian calendar, drawing millions of believers from across the globe to the Redemption Camp in Nigeria. It is a time of divine visitation, supernatural encounters, and life-transforming experiences. The convention features powerful worship, revelatory teaching, prophetic declarations, and prayer for every need.
The theme for 2026, “Mountain Movers,” reflects the power of God to remove every obstacle, break every barrier, and make a way where there seems to be no way. As we prepare for this convention, we enter into a season of fasting and prayer, aligning our hearts with God’s purposes and positioning ourselves for the move of God.
Day 7 of the fasting and prayer focuses on the 2026 Annual Convention itself. We pray for the convention – for the speakers, the attendees, the logistics, the messages, and the harvest of souls. We declare that this convention will surpass previous ones in spiritual impact, attendance, testimonies, and the manifestation of God’s glory.
Why We Pray for the Convention
1. The Convention Is God’s Idea
The Annual Convention is not just a church program—it is a divine appointment. God has ordained this gathering as a time to meet with His people, to heal, to deliver, to save, and to transform. When we pray for the convention, we are aligning ourselves with God’s purpose.
2. The Convention Is a Harvest Field
The convention is a harvest field where souls are saved, lives are restored, and destinies are aligned. We pray that the harvest will be plentiful and that the labourers will be equipped.
3. The Convention Is a Mountain-Moving Moment
The theme for 2026 is “Mountain Movers.” We are not just talking about mountains—we are expecting them to move. We pray that every mountain of sickness, poverty, sin, and stagnation will be removed.
4. The Convention Is a Legacy
The impact of the convention extends beyond the week. It produces lasting spiritual fruit that will remain for generations. We pray that this convention will leave a legacy of revival, restoration, and transformation.
5. The Convention Must Surpass Previous Ones
God is not a God of repetition—He is a God of increase. We pray that this convention will surpass previous ones in spiritual impact, attendance, testimonies, and the manifestation of God’s glory.
