TOPIC: SHE PAID 10 POUNDS AND CHOSE TO DIE IN SWITZERLAND – 1
Welcome to July! A British mum paid £10k to end her life at a Swiss clinic after the death of her only son! I will just use Ms. “K. U.” as her name for privacy and respect for the family! Ms. K. U, over 50 years old, determined to take her life after the death of her only son whom I shall call Mr. “D.” There is a clinic called “PEGASOS” in Switzerland. It is an assisted-dying clinic! Ms. K. U, a former care worker, said: “I want to die, and that’s what I’m going to do. My life is my choice.” She applied to Pegasos Clinic and received the approval late last year, 2025. She paid the £10,000 (around $13,400) fee and then wrote letters to her loved ones after which she travelled to Switzerland with plans for her VAD (Voluntary Assisted Death) procedure which took place on Friday, April 24, 2026. Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) legally allows eligible adults with a life-limiting illness, choose to end life instead of depending on palliative care or medicines. Despite years of therapy and antidepressants, she has been unable to come to terms with the death of her only son! Speaking just days before her death, Ms. K. U. said: “I won’t change my mind. I know it’s hard for you, sweetheart. It will be hard for everyone. But I want to die, and that’s what I’m going to do. And I’ll have a smile on my face when I do; so please be happy for me. My life; my choice.” She added: “I can’t wait!” So she was in a hurry to die in order to escape from the agony of her son’s memory! And as we continue this story in tomorrow’s devotional, the Holy Ghost is speaking to 12, 100 users of today’s devotional: NEVER GIVE UP because a last-minute miracle will happen! WAS THERE NO WAR IN HEAVEN (vs. 7)? So, why are you depressed? Life is war but victory is sure! BUT QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION… (To be continued tomorrow)… Pray seriously now!

TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR LIFE, PLEASE PRAY AND CONFESS THE FOLLOWING: “Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that He died for my sins, I believe that You raised Him from the dead for my justification. Lord Jesus, come into my heart right now. I receive YOU today as my personal Lord and Saviour, and I give God the glory. Amen.” (PRAY IT UNTIL YOU HAVE PEACE/JOY IN YOUR HEART).
