BASIC SCRIPTURE: REVELATION 12:1-7 (KJV)

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

PRAYER POINTS

Father, let me see the great wonder of Your heavenly purpose. Open my eyes to understand the spiritual realities behind the things I see on earth.

Lord, I thank You that even when the woman travailed in birth, You had a plan for her deliverance. When I am in pain and labour, let me know that something greater is being birthed.

Father, I rebuke every red dragon standing before my destiny — every enemy that seeks to devour what You are birthing in my life. Let them be scattered.
-
Lord, protect every man child — every purpose, every calling, every vision that You have placed in me. Let it not be devoured by the enemy.
-
Father, when the dragon casts stars to the earth — when I see spiritual forces fall and corruption spread — let me not be deceived. Keep me standing.

Lord, prepare a place for me in the wilderness. When I must flee from the enemy, let me find Your provision, Your protection, and Your presence in that place.

Father, let there be war in heaven for my sake. Let Michael and his angels fight against the dragon on my behalf. The battle is not mine alone.

Lord, I declare that the dragon is defeated. Though he rages, he is cast down. The victory belongs to You, and I stand on the winning side.
DECLARATIONS

I declare that I am clothed with the sun, the moon is under my feet, and a crown of stars is upon my head. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places.

Though I travail in birth, I shall be delivered. The pain of labour is not the end — the child is coming forth.

The great red dragon stands before me, but he cannot devour my destiny. My purpose is protected by the hand of God.

The man child within me — the call of God, the vision, the promise — shall rule the nations with a rod of iron. It shall not be stolen.

When I must flee into the wilderness, God has prepared a place for me. I shall be fed. I shall be kept. I shall not perish.

There is war in heaven. Michael fights for me. Angels are engaged on my behalf. I am not alone in this battle.

The dragon is cast down. His power is broken. He cannot stand before the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony.

I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. I love not my life unto the death. Victory is mine.

The Great Wonder (Verse 1):
John sees a great wonder in heaven — a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars upon her head. This woman represents the people of God, Israel and the church, radiant with divine glory. She is not weak or defeated. She is crowned and glorious. The sun speaks of righteousness, the moon of victory over lesser lights, and the twelve stars of divine order and completeness.
The Travail (Verse 2):
The woman is with child, crying out in birth pains. The travail represents the suffering and labour that precedes the birth of God’s purposes. You cannot have a child without pain. You cannot have a destiny without labour. The enemy will attack at the point of delivery, but the birth will come.
The Great Red Dragon (Verse 3):
The dragon is Satan — ancient, powerful, and ruthless. He has seven heads and ten horns, representing full earthly power and authority. He is not a small adversary. He is a formidable enemy. But he is not undefeatable. He is under the feet of the woman.
The Tail That Casts Stars (Verse 4):
The dragon’s tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. This refers to the fall of angels who followed Satan. But it also speaks of the enemy’s strategy — to draw down and corrupt what belongs to heaven. He wants to bring heavenly things down to earthly levels. Do not let him.
The Man Child (Verse 5):
The woman brought forth a man child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. This child is ultimately Christ, but it also represents every purpose and destiny that God births in His people. The enemy wants to devour it at birth. God wants to catch it up to His throne. Do not let your vision be aborted. Your calling is destined to rule.
The Wilderness Place Prepared (Verse 6):
The woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place for her. The wilderness is not abandonment. It is protection. God feeds her there for 1,260 days. The enemy may drive you into the wilderness, but God will prepare a table for you there. He will feed you in the desert.
War in Heaven (Verse 7):
The dragon does not have the final word. There is war in heaven. Michael and his angels fight against the dragon. When the enemy attacks you, heaven responds. The archangel is on your side. The armies of God are engaged. The battle is real, but the outcome is certain.
Question for the Day:
What is the man child that God is birthing in you — the calling, the vision, the purpose — and is the dragon standing before it to devour it? Do not be afraid. The woman travails, but the child shall be delivered. War is in heaven, and the dragon is cast down.
