17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Prayer Points and Declarations

1. Believing in the God Who Quickens the Dead

• Scripture Ref: v. 17

• Prayer Point: Father, I come before You as the God who raises the dead. Every dead situation in my life—dead dreams, dead relationships, dead finances, dead hopes—I submit to Your resurrection power. Breathe life into them now.

• Declaration: I serve the God who quickens the dead! No situation is too dead for His life-giving power. What is dead in my life shall live again by the power of God .

2. Calling Things That Are Not as Though They Were

• Scripture Ref: v. 17

• Prayer Point: Lord, teach me to speak faith-filled words that align with Your promises. Give me the grace to call forth what You have spoken over my life, even when I cannot yet see it with my natural eyes.

• Declaration: I speak to my future as God speaks to it. I call forth what is not yet seen as though it already exists. My words are not idle; they are creative, echoing the faith of my Father Abraham .

3. Believing Against Hope

• Scripture Ref: v. 18

• Prayer Point: Father, when every natural circumstance says “impossible,” give me the supernatural grace to believe in hope. Let my faith rise above medical reports, financial statements, and human limitations.

• Declaration: Against all natural hope, I believe in hope! Human reasoning says it cannot be done, but my God says it is done. I align my hope with His Word, not with my circumstances .

4. Refusing to Consider Natural Limitations

• Scripture Ref: v. 19

• Prayer Point: Lord, forgive me for every time I have focused on the “deadness” of my body, my resources, or my situation. Help me to stop considering natural impossibilities and start fixating on Your supernatural ability.

• Declaration: I will not consider the deadness of my circumstances. I do not look at my limitations; I look at my limitless God. My body may be weak, but my God is strong .

5. Staggering Not at God’s Promise

• Scripture Ref: v. 20

• Prayer Point: Father, steady my faith. When the wait is long and the promise seems delayed, keep me from staggering. Let no wave of doubt shake my confidence in Your Word.

• Declaration: I do not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief! My feet are planted on His Word. Though the storm rages, I will not be moved. I stand firm on every promise He has spoken .

6. Being Strong in Faith

• Scripture Ref: v. 20

• Prayer Point: Lord, strengthen my faith daily. When I am weak, be my strength. When I am weary, renew my resolve. Let my faith grow stronger with each passing day, not weaker.

• Declaration: I am strong in faith! Not by my own ability, but by the grace of God working in me. My faith muscles are exercised daily, and I am growing stronger in trust .

7. Giving Glory to God in Advance

• Scripture Ref: v. 20

• Prayer Point: Father, teach me to glorify You before I see the manifestation. Let my praise not be dependent on what I see but on who You are. I choose to give You glory now, in the waiting.

• Declaration: I give glory to God before I see the answer! My praise is not for what I have but for who He is. I worship Him in advance for the miracle that is already on its way .

8. Being Fully Persuaded

• Scripture Ref: v. 21

• Prayer Point: Lord, remove every shred of doubt from my heart. Bring me to a place of being fully persuaded—100% convinced—that what You have promised, You are able to perform.

• Declaration: I am fully persuaded! God is able. He is able to perform His promises. He is able to do what He said He would do. My confidence is not in my ability but in His faithfulness .

9. Faith Imputed for Righteousness

• Scripture Ref: v. 22

• Prayer Point: Father, let my faith not be in vain. Let it be accounted to me as righteousness. I do not rely on my works or my worthiness; I rely solely on faith in Your Son and faith in Your promises.

• Declaration: My faith is counted unto me for righteousness! I am justified not by works but by faith. I stand before God clothed in the righteousness of Christ, sealed by my faith in His promises .

10. Complete Confidence in God’s Ability

• Scripture Ref: v. 21 (Summary)

• Prayer Point: Lord, I surrender every area where I have doubted Your ability. Whether it is healing, provision, restoration, or breakthrough—I declare that You are able. Nothing is too hard for You.

• Declaration: My God is able! He is able to heal, able to provide, able to restore, able to deliver. No promise of His is too difficult. I trust Him completely from this day forward .
