BASIC SCRIPTURE: DEUTERONOMY 32: 9-14

Basic Scripture: Deuteronomy 32:9-14 (King James Version)

9 For the LORD’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.

Prayer Points and Declarations

1. Knowing I Am God’s Portion and Inheritance

• Scripture Ref: v. 9

• Prayer Point: Father, thank You that I am not just a servant or a subject—I am Your portion, Your inheritance, Your treasured possession. Help me to live in the reality of how deeply You value me.

• Declaration: I am the LORD’s portion! I am His inheritance, His treasured possession. He does not just own me; He delights in me. I am precious in His sight .

2. God Finds Me in the Wilderness

• Scripture Ref: v. 10

• Prayer Point: Lord, You found me in my desert places—in the waste and howling wilderness of sin, confusion, and desolation. Thank You for not leaving me there. You searched for me and found me when I could not find my way.

• Declaration: God found me in the wilderness! Even in my most desolate moments, He was searching for me. He did not abandon me to the waste; He came to rescue me .

3. Led, Instructed, and Kept

• Scripture Ref: v. 10

• Prayer Point: Father, I submit to Your leading. Lead me about—guide my steps even when the path seems winding. Instruct my heart with Your wisdom. Keep me as the apple of Your eye, protecting me from every harm.

• Declaration: The Lord leads me, instructs me, and keeps me! I am under His divine guidance. His eye is upon me, and His hand protects me as the most precious part of His own being .

4. The Eagle’s Care

• Scripture Ref: v. 11

• Prayer Point: Lord, like an eagle stirring up her nest, You sometimes disturb my comfort to teach me to fly. Thank You for the uncomfortable seasons that stretch my faith. Stir me when I grow complacent.

• Declaration: God is my Eagle! He stirs me when I am too comfortable. He hovers over me, catches me when I fall, and bears me up on His wings. I am safe in His care .

5. Carried on Divine Wings

• Scripture Ref: v. 11

• Prayer Point: Father, when I am too weak to go on, carry me. Spread abroad Your wings over me and bear me up. I do not have to fly in my own strength; You are my strength and my lifter.

• Declaration: I am borne on the wings of God! When I am weary, He carries me. When I fall, He catches me. His wings are my refuge and my strength .

6. The LORD Alone Leads Me

• Scripture Ref: v. 12

• Prayer Point: Lord, let there be no “strange god” before me or with me. Remove every idol—every misplaced trust in money, people, or possessions. You alone are my leader and my provider.

• Declaration: The LORD alone leads me! I have no other guide, no other source. My trust is in Him alone. No strange god will share my heart or my devotion .

7. Riding on the High Places

• Scripture Ref: v. 13

• Prayer Point: Father, lift me above my circumstances. Let me ride on the high places of the earth—walking in authority, victory, and dominion. I refuse to stay in the valley of defeat.

• Declaration: I ride on the high places! I am not stuck in the lowlands. God has raised me up to walk in authority and victory. I possess the high places in His name .

8. Eating the Increase of the Fields

• Scripture Ref: v. 13

• Prayer Point: Lord, You are my provider. You cause me to eat the increase of the fields—to enjoy the fruit of Your blessing. I receive Your provision with thanksgiving, knowing that every good gift comes from You.

• Declaration: I eat the increase of the fields! God provides abundantly for me. I am not in lack; I am in harvest. His provision flows to me from every direction .

9. Honey Out of the Rock

• Scripture Ref: v. 13

• Prayer Point: Father, You bring sweetness out of hardness. Where others see only rock and resistance, You produce honey. Take the hard places in my life and bring forth something sweet and nourishing.

• Declaration: Honey flows from my rock! What the enemy meant as hard and barren, God turns into sweetness. Even in difficult places, I find the goodness of the Lord .

10. Oil Out of the Flinty Rock

• Scripture Ref: v. 13

• Prayer Point: Lord, bring anointing out of pressure. Where there is flint—hardness, opposition, friction—let there flow oil. Let my trials produce fresh anointing for the journey ahead.

• Declaration: Oil flows from my flinty rock! Pressure produces anointing. Every trial is yielding fresh oil for my assignment. I am being prepared and equipped for greater things .

11. The Fatness of the Earth

• Scripture Ref: v. 14

• Prayer Point: Father, I receive the abundance of Your provision—butter, milk, fat of lambs, rams of Bashan, goats, wheat, and the pure blood of the grape. You give not just enough, but the finest and the best.

• Declaration: I am blessed with the finest of God’s provision! He does not give me leftovers; He gives me the fat of the land. His blessings are abundant, rich, and overflowing .

12. Drinking the Pure Blood of the Grape

• Scripture Ref: v. 14

• Prayer Point: Lord, let me drink deeply of the new wine of Your Spirit. Refresh me, fill me, and cause joy to spring up within me. I receive the joy of Your presence as my strength.

• Declaration: I drink the pure blood of the grape! The wine of the Spirit fills me. I am refreshed, anointed, and overflowing with the joy of the Lord .
