It was like a scene in a home movie, during a wedding ceremony in late October 2020. Venue was at a church in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, when a woman marched to the church altar, seized the microphone from the Priest during a WEDDING CEREMONY, accused the groom of dumping her for his new bride, and demanded that the wedding ceremony be stopped immediately. The enraged woman whose identity could not be ascertained, was said to have leant about the wedding ceremony through a Facebook post by an unidentified user, before the traditional and court wedding ceremonies were held. The angry woman stormed the church with some hefty-looking men, in an Audi car at about 6.30 am, and waited patiently till the wedding ceremony began at 12 pm. Trouble started when the officiating pastor asked the congregation if anyone knew of any reason for which the couple should not be joined as husband and wife. At the point when the ring bearer was about to hand the ring box to the groom, the self-acclaimed jilted lover matched to the altar, seized the microphone from the Pastor and shouted “No! No!

This wedding will not hold. The shocked pastor was said to have repeated the announcement for the second time, and the light-complexioned woman again answered ” No” in a thunderous voice, to the bewilderment of the congregation. She further narrated how the groom had proposed to marry her in 2017, after a courtship that lasted for seven years, but the relationship did not produce any child. The enraged woman told the congregation that she entered into a covenant with the groom before the church altar where he worshiped. According to her, he no longer picks my calls. He abandoned me.

Why? What did I do to you? The new bride who watched helplessly as her Joy and hope collapsed on her, also collapsed on her seat, while the groom, who was dressed in a cream-coloured suit with black trousers and a pair of glasses, broke down in tears. Confusion filled the entire congregation as the wedding ceremony was suspended by the officiating pastor. Indeed, a broken courtship is better than broken marriage, but INTEGRITY is important in all you do in 2021. Why would a man date a woman for years and cleverly abandon her? What was she supposed to do with those “wasted years? Can time be rolled back? In 2021, always remember the GOLDEN RULE (today’s scripture Verse 31) – “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

Don’t do to others what you don t want to be done to you, because YOU WILL REAP WHAT YOU SOW! Catch this again: There are seven things that will destroy us: Wealth without work; Pleasure without conscience; Knowledge without character; Religion without sacrifice; Politics without pimple; Science without humanity; Business without ethics! PLEASURE WITHOUT CONSCIENCE WILL DESTROY all your fasting/prayers in 2021! Avoid it and live right daily because this year, you will be UNSTOPPABLE!
