TOPIC: GO FOR HIS WAYS, NOT HIS ACTS!
Welcome to today’s devotional! Yes, if you want the ways of God, He will reveal them to you, but if you want to see His acts, He will manifest them to you! The question is: HIS WAYS AND HIS ACTS, which is better? You can see His acts, miracles, deliverance, signs and wonders and end up in hell, but you cannot experience His ways and be separated from Him in eternity! His ways makes you to be more like Him. Most Christians would prefer to see God perform mighty miracles rather than to have fellowship with Him and learn His ways! Psalm 103:7 says: “He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel.” Wow! Did you get that? Why did God show Moses HIS WAYS, but revealed HIS ACTS to the children of Israel? Was it that He loved Moses and hated the people? NO! NO! NO! The reason is because they got what they asked for! The people of Israel were hungry for the acts, miracles, signs and wonders and God gave it to them! He gave them water from THE ROCK! He divided the RED SEA! He gave them Manna from heaven, etc. On the other hand, Moses was hungry for the ways of God. Vs. 13 of today’s Word says: “If I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way.” So, God had to lavish His ways to Moses because he prayed and asked for it! And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is: GO FOR HIS WAYS DAILY IN THIS HALF OF THE YEAR! His ways will produce His acts, but His acts will most likely not produce His ways! Moses wanted to know God and His plans for His people more than to see another mighty miracle! No wonder the Lord conversed with him “as a man speaks to his friend.” In This 2nd Half Of 2026, Determine Not Just To Work For God But To Work With God – To Be His Friend!
